The Challenge
As we grow and open more stores, we need a Product Importer to help expand our product catalog efficiently. In this role, you'll import products into our Shopify stores and create compelling product pages that drive sales. Success requires familiarity with Shopify listing processes and tools like Kopy and DSers, as well as the ability to precisely manage high volumes of imports. Your work will support our expanding operations and ensure seamless product launches.
Day in the Life of a Product Importer at GTEcom
Import new products into our Shopify store, ensuring accurate product details, pricing, and inventory levels.
Create and optimize product pages with compelling descriptions, images, and attributes to enhance customer engagement and conversions.
Monitor and update inventory levels, coordinating with relevant teams for restocking when needed.
Regularly review and maintain data accuracy across product listings, promptly addressing any errors or discrepancies.
Collaborate with marketing and design teams to ensure product pages align with brand guidelines and are visually appealing.
Utilize tools like Shopify, Kopy, and DSers to streamline product listing processes, manage order fulfillment, and update import and research reports regularly.
Prepare and analyze reports related to product performance, inventory, and trends to support decision-making.
Drivers of Success for This Role
Achieve daily and monthly import targets for assigned brands, contributing to the overall team targets.
Maintain high accuracy in imports and QA checks, minimizing errors to ensure seamless product data integration.

We Would Love to Hear from You If…
You have at least 6 months of experience in a similar role working for an eCommerce company, specifically in the dropshipping model.
You have at least 6 months of experience working with Shopifyand similar product import tools like Kopy, DSers, Spocket, or Zendrop.
You have proven expertise in data gathering and reporting, particularly using Excel or Google Sheets.
You have a high level of attention to detail, ensuring accuracy in product listings and reports.
You are proactive and able to take initiative in identifying and solving issues.
Prior experience in a similar role is essential.

Overview of Our Interview Process

TestGorilla Assessment– You will be invited to take a 19-minute written examination to help us assess your fitness for the role and our team. Please note that passing this stage is crucial to moving forward in the hiring process.
Initial Contact (Initial Interview)– Our Recruiter will reach out to you to discuss the next steps.
Final Interview -Meet with the Hiring Manager or our CEO. If the Hiring Manager is not our CEO, you may have another call with our CEO.
Offer Discussion– If all goes well, we'll discuss the offer and invite you to our pre-onboarding process.
Pre-onboarding Process - This includes a background check to verify your identity and declared address, as well as a reference check with three of your provided references.
Onboarding:Once all checks are completed, we’ll initiate the onboarding process.
