Procurement Administrator
About this role
Salary: R29 000 – R32 000 per month
Remote Recruitment is hiring a Procurement Administrator for a UK-based employer, fully remote from South Africa. You will run the purchasing process for a UK business, from requisition to receipt.
Role overview
You'll raise purchase orders, chase suppliers, keep pricing and supplier records accurate, and make sure what was ordered is what actually arrives — and at the price that was agreed.
Key responsibilities
- Raise and issue purchase orders against approved requisitions
- Chase suppliers on order confirmations and delivery dates
- Match invoices to orders and resolve pricing discrepancies
- Maintain supplier records, pricing lists and contract dates
- Report on spend, savings and open order status
What you'll need
- Experience in procurement, purchasing or buying administration
- Experience with an ERP or purchasing system such as SAP, NetSuite or Sage
- Confident with spreadsheets for spend analysis
- Comfortable negotiating dates and pricing with suppliers
- Accurate record-keeping and document control
Nice to have
- Experience with UK supplier bases
- CIPS certification or study towards it
- Experience with tender or RFQ processes
