Job Overview
This is a remote position in which you will need to use your own laptop/PC to utilize company workspace for an online workflow. The job requires you to submit authorization requests to insurance companies online or by fax and answer any medical questions the insurance may have.
The shift hours for this job are from 9:00am to 5:30am EST, with a 30-minute break in between.
Job Objectives- Send prior authorization requests to various insurance companies.
- Review patient medical records, treatment plans, and other relevant documentation to gather necessary information for authorization requests.
- Ensure that all prior authorization forms and supporting documents are correctly filled out, delivered on schedule, and submitted.
- Understands and follows applicable HIPAA regulations, professional standards, and ethical principles.

Requirements
- Prior experience submitting drug prior authorizations (e.g. experience using CoverMyMeds).
- Reliable internet connection. Using an online speed test (), you must have internet download speeds of at least 20 Mbps and upload speeds of at least 10 Mbps.
- Ability to work independently with supervisor oversight.
- Upholding confidentiality when managing private patient data.
- Two computer monitors is strongly recommended.
