🧭 Navigating the position: Portfolio Marketing Manager The Portfolio Marketing Manager is responsible for bringing together individual product narratives and translating them into a compelling, differentiated portfolio story.Working closely with product marketers, the role identifies the common customer needs and our capabilities that sit across the portfolio and elevates product-level messaging into a clear, cohesive narrative that demonstrates the breadth and value of the organisation’s overall offering.
The role ensures that products are not marketed as disconnected solutions, but as part of a connected portfolio of capabilities that delivers greater value for customers.

Key Responsibilities:

Portfolio Narrative & Positioning

• Own and evolve the overarching portfolio narrative, positioning and messaging.
• Work closely with individual product marketers to understand and leverage product-level narratives, propositions and proof points.
• Identify common themes, capabilities, customer needs and differentiators that cut across individual products.
• Translate product-level features and benefits into higher-level portfolio capabilities and customer outcomes.
• Create a clear hierarchy of messaging from product → capability → portfolio value proposition.
• Ensure the portfolio story is compelling, differentiated and easy for customers and sales teams to understand.
• Working closely with the brand team and our parent company product marketers, develop messaging frameworks that promote key competencies consistently within the wider portfolio narrative.

Cross-Product Storytelling

• Connect product stories to demonstrate how capabilities work together to solve broader customer challenges.
• Identify opportunities to tell integrated stories across multiple products and within the wider LR portfolio.
• Develop portfolio-level propositions, use cases and customer journeys.
• Turn complex product portfolios into intuitive narratives that resonate with senior decision-makers.
• Establish frameworks and principles for how product narratives ladder up to the portfolio.
• Ensure consistency without removing the distinctiveness of individual products.

Content & Enablement

• Develop portfolio-level messaging, narratives and sales enablement tools.
• Create portfolio stories that can be adapted across campaigns, websites, events, executive presentations and sales conversations.
• Develop visual and narrative frameworks that help customers understand how the portfolio fits together.

What Success Looks Like

• Individual product narratives are connected through a clear and compelling portfolio story.
• Customers understand what the organisation can do for them, rather than simply what individual products do.
• The portfolio is positioned around customer needs, capabilities and outcomes rather than a collection of products.
• Product Marketers have a clear framework for how their messaging ladders up to the wider portfolio.
• Sales teams can confidently tell an integrated portfolio story.
• The organisation presents a consistent, differentiated narrative across products, channels and markets.
• The portfolio narrative creates opportunities for cross-product conversations, adoption and growth.

• Strong experience in Product Marketing.
• Exceptional storytelling and narrative development skills.
• Ability to synthesise complex information from multiple products and turn it into a simple, compelling story.
