Theroleisprimarilyremote,offeringflexibilitywhilealsorequiringoccasionaltravelwithintheUKtosupportspecificaspectsoftheinquiry.
KeyResponsibilities
Conductingdocumentreviewanddisclosureexercises.
Assessingdocumentationforrelevanceandevidentialvalue.
UsingRelativityandothere-disclosureplatformstomanageandreviewmaterial.
Reviewingdocumentsforredactionandconfidentialityconsiderations.
Assistingwiththepreparationofwitnessstatementsandsupportingmaterials.
Supportingwiderinquiry-relatedlegalandadministrativeactivitiesasrequired.
AssistingwiththereviewofhardcopydocumentsheldinarchivesacrosstheUK.
Requirements
Essential
ActiveSC(SecurityCheck)Clearance.ThisisanabsoluterequirementandcandidateswithoutcurrentSCclearancecannotbeconsidered.
Previousexperienceworkingonapublicinquiry.
Experienceofdocumentreviewanddisclosureprocesses.
Familiaritywithrelevancereviewmethodologies.
ExperienceusingRelativityfordocumentreview.
Experiencecarryingoutredactionsandhandlingsensitivematerial.
Experiencesupportingwitnessstatementpreparation.
Desirable
Experienceworkingwithinlarge-scaleinvestigations,inquiries,orlitigationmatters.
Strongattentiontodetailandabilitytomanagelargevolumesofdocumentation.
Abilitytoworkindependentlyinalargelyremoteenvironment.
Location&Travel
WhiletheInquiryisbasedinSheffield,themajorityofworkcanbeperformedremotely.Candidatesmustbewillingtotraveloccasionallyto:
