Job Title: Senior Precisely Evolve / Automate Consultant (SAP S/4HANA)

Location: US-based, Eastern or Central time zone (to be confirmed)

Work Timing: US Eastern business hours, with weekend availability during load and testing windows

Experience: 8+ years in SAP data management, including 5+ years hands-on with Precisely Evolve and Automate Studio

Position Summary

We are hiring a senior Precisely Evolve / Automate consultant to own the SAP data-load layer for a global consumer-products manufacturer that went live on SAP S/4HANA in 2026. The layer takes governed master data from an MDM platform and loads it into SAP through Evolve workflows, forms and Automate scripts.

The environment was built largely by one architect, so this role is intended to remove that dependency. The consultant is expected to work independently from day one, diagnose and fix production data-load failures without vendor help, and become the go-to owner of the Evolve platform.

Key Responsibilities

Precisely Evolve Platform Ownership & Workflow Management

• Own Evolve end to end, including workflows, forms, contribution and approval tasks, and the Automate Studio scripts that write to SAP.
• Build, maintain and version-control Automate scripts for material master (finished, semi-finished and raw materials), plant extensions, BOMs, routings, purchasing info records, pricing and sales kits.
• Mentor the existing Evolve resource and participate in knowledge transfer from the original architect.

SAP Data Loads & Production Support

• Triage and resolve production load failures in hypercare and steady state, tracing each error to its source: upstream MDM data, the integration layer, or the SAP API or transaction.
• Partner with SAP functional consultants (MM, PP, SD) and business super-users on field mappings, defaults and validation rules.
• Support the Evolve platform through production operations and maintain reliable data-load execution.

Integration & Master Data Collaboration

• Work with the MDM team (Precisely EnterWorks) and the integration team (webMethods) on the export-to-load handoff and file pickups.
• Work with upstream MDM/PIM data feeds and coordinate issue resolution across the data, integration and SAP layers.

Governance, Documentation & Knowledge Transfer

• Enforce change control on scripts and templates so no change reaches production without review, testing and documentation.
• Create and maintain the platform documentation currently lacking, including architecture, workflow catalogue, script inventory and runbooks.
• Support knowledge transfer and reduce dependency on the original platform architect.

Required Qualifications

• 8+ years in SAP data management, including 5+ years of hands-on experience with Precisely Evolve and Automate Studio (formerly Winshuttle Foundation and Studio).
• Designed and built Evolve solutions as the lead or architect, not only operated or maintained them; at least two full-cycle implementations.
• Deep SAP S/4HANA material master knowledge, covering views, plant and sales-organization extensions, units of measure, classification, BOMs, routings and purchasing info records.
• Expertise in Automate Studio transaction and query scripts, Excel-based workflow forms, and debugging BAPI and transaction-recording errors.
• Supported Evolve through at least one S/4HANA go-live and hypercare.
• Experience working with upstream MDM/PIM data feeds and understanding of middleware-driven integration (webMethods or similar).
• Disciplined approach to change control, versioning and documentation.
• Clear communication with business users and ability to work independently in a multi-vendor environment.

Technical Skills

Precisely Evolve & Automate Studio

• Precisely Evolve workflows, forms, contribution and approval tasks; Automate Studio transaction and query scripts; Excel-based workflow forms; script debugging and version control.

SAP S/4HANA Master Data

• Material master views and extensions, units of measure, classification, BOMs, routings, purchasing info records, pricing and sales kits; SAP functional collaboration across MM, PP and SD.

MDM, PIM & Integration

• Precisely EnterWorks or comparable MDM/PIM platforms; export-to-load handoffs, file pickups and middleware-driven integration using webMethods or similar.

Production Support & Governance

• Production load triage, hypercare, root-cause analysis across MDM/integration/SAP layers, BAPI and transaction-recording error debugging, change control, testing, documentation and runbooks.

Preferred / Nice-to-Have Skills

• Hands-on Precisely EnterWorks experience, or experience with a comparable MDM/PIM product.
• Data migration from a legacy ERP (Infor M3 or similar) to S/4HANA, including cutover extract loads.
• Experience with upstream PLM data sources (Centric PLM or similar) and parent-child product structures.
• SAP variant configuration (AVC) material data in a make-to-order environment.
• Experience in consumer products, apparel, footwear or sporting goods.
• Precisely or Winshuttle certification.

• Material master and related SAP data-load scenarios are supported accurately across the identified master-data objects.
• Architecture documentation, workflow catalogue, script inventory and operational runbooks are created and maintained.
• Knowledge is transferred to the existing Evolve resource and dependency on the original architect is reduced.
