Here is how the Owner Relations Specialist will impact our business:

• The Owner Relations Specialist serves as primary point of contact and support for landowners and interest owners, helping ensure inquiries are handled accurately, professionally, and in a timely manner within a high-volume service environment.
• This role manages landowner inquiries from intake through resolution, researches and gathers information, communicates updates and next steps, and partners across the organization to help resolve a variety of owner-related questions and requests.
• The Specialist works within established Owner Relations processes and systems while balancing productivity, quality, responsiveness, and the overall landowner experience.

The Owner Relations Specialist responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Landowner Service & Communication
  • Provide professional, timely, and responsive service to landowners across available communication channels.
  • Communicate information, requirements, status updates, next steps, and resolutions clearly and effectively.
  • Handle complex or sensitive interactions professionally and escalate issues when appropriate.
  • Build positive working relationships with landowners and internal business partners.
• Case & Workflow Management
  • Manage landowner inquiries and assigned work from intake through resolution using established systems and processes.
  • Gather, review, and document information necessary to research, route, and resolve inquiries.
  • Maintain accurate and complete case records, documentation, and communication history.
  • Organize and prioritize workload to meet established service, productivity, quality, and responsiveness expectations.
• Research & Problem Solving
  • Research landowner inquiries using available business systems, records, data, and resources.
  • Analyze information to identify issues, determine appropriate next steps, and support resolution.
  • Exercise sound judgment to recognize when specialized review or additional expertise is required.
  • Coordinate with cross-functional business partners to research and resolve inquiries.
• Quality &Team Contribution
  • Complete work in accordance with established procedures, quality standards, and privacy/data-handling requirements.
  • Maintain accuracy, consistency, and attention to detail when managing landowner inquiries and information.
  • Identify and communicate recurring issues, trends, or process concerns to leadership.
  • Participate in training and adapt to changes in processes, systems, and technology.
  • Collaborate with team members and business partners to support department goals.
  • Perform other related responsibilities as assigned.

Required Experience and Skills:

• High school diploma or GED.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong customer service and interpersonal skills, with the ability to handle challenging or sensitive situations professionally.
• Strong organizational, research, problem-solving, and attention to detail skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and work effectively in a high-volume environment.
• Ability to exercise sound judgment and recognize when escalation or additional expertise is required.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively across cross-functional teams.
• Ability to learn and adapt to changing processes, systems, and technology.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications and the ability to effectively learn and navigate digital business systems.

Preferred Experience and Skills:

• Relevant experience in customer service, case management, business operations, Owner Relations, Land, Revenue, Division Order, or a related field.
• Experience working in a high-volume customer service or case-management environment.
• Experience with CRM/case-management systems, including Salesforce or similar platforms.
• Oil & gas industry experience.
• Associate's or bachelor's degree in a related field.

Remote work is being considered for this role excluding the following states: California, Connecticut, Delaware, Illinois, Indiana, Louisiana, Massachusetts, Michigan, New Jersey, New York, and Tennessee unless willing to relocate.

Selected incumbent will be placed into the position that best suits their abilities and experience level.
