Job Description:
We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Organizational Change Manager to lead organizational change management and business readiness activities for a large-scale digital modernization initiative. The successful candidate will develop and execute change strategies that prepare stakeholders, business teams, and end users for changes to processes, technologies, digital services, and AI-enabled ways of working.
The role will be responsible for conducting change impact and stakeholder readiness assessments, developing communications and engagement strategies, creating executive briefings and change materials, and coordinating training and knowledge-transfer activities. The successful candidate will also support user adoption, resistance management, deployment readiness, go-live, hypercare, transition to operations, and post-implementation stabilization.
The Organizational Change Manager will work closely with project leadership, business stakeholders, technical teams, operational teams, subject matter experts, and vendors to ensure organizational readiness throughout the project lifecycle. The role will also identify opportunities to responsibly leverage approved AI and Generative AI tools to improve communications, training development, stakeholder analysis, knowledge management, readiness reporting, and change activities, while ensuring all AI-assisted outputs are reviewed for accuracy, privacy, security, accessibility, and compliance.
The successful candidate should have extensive experience leading organizational change initiatives, developing business readiness strategies, managing stakeholder engagement, delivering communications and training, and supporting adoption of citizen-facing digital services. Experience with licensing, regulatory, permitting, or similar citizen-facing services and experience working within Agile or other structured project methodologies will be highly valuable.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Minimum 7 years of Organizational Change Management (OCM) experience.
- Minimum 7 years of experience developing and implementing change management strategies.
- Minimum 7 years of experience developing effective communication materials and stakeholder communications.
- Minimum 7 years of experience leading OCM activities for organizational/digital transformation initiatives.
- Minimum 3 years of experience working as an Organizational Change Manager on relevant initiatives.
- Minimum 2 years of experience implementing citizen services portals or similar digital service platforms.
- Minimum 2 years of experience supporting licensing, regulatory, permitting, or citizen-facing services.
- Minimum 5 years of experience working with applicable project/change methodologies.
- Experience developing and delivering communications, presentations, executive briefings, and stakeholder engagement activities.
- Experience developing and delivering training, knowledge-transfer materials, user guides, job aids, FAQs, and learning resources.
- Experience supporting business readiness, adoption, deployment, go-live, hypercare, and transition to operations.
- Experience identifying and managing change risks, resistance, impacts, dependencies, and mitigation strategies.
- Experience leveraging AI and Generative AI tools to support change management, communications, training, readiness, reporting, or knowledge management.
- Ability to evaluate and validate AI-generated content for accuracy, privacy, security, accessibility, and compliance.
- Strong relationship-building skills with leadership, business stakeholders, technical teams, SMEs, and vendors.
- Must be able to work remotely from within Canada.
- Agile certification and Prosci Change Management certification/designation are considered assets.
