🧑💻 About the role
As our New Business Developer, you'll be the driving force behind expanding and optimizing our B2B efforts. Your primary focus will be on validating and driving our expansion into a new segment: travel agencies, both in the Dutch and international markets with a strong emphasis in the English speaking markets. You'll work on increasing our business activities with travel agencies and travel-related companies, helping us identify and penetrate new markets.
You'll set hypotheses and run experiments to discover the best approaches for our B2B products targeted at travel agencies. This involves shaping our existing products to make them appealing to this new segment or developing new solutions to serve these customer segments effectively.
Your number one challenge in the first 3 months will be identifying high-potential opportunities within the travel agency sector, testing hypotheses, and laying the groundwork for scalable, repeatable sales processes.
You'll report directly to the CEO and collaborate closely with the Growth Sales and Customer Success teams to shape our B2B strategy, define key problems to solve, and drive revenue growth in this new segment.

Experience and skills:
Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in business development, sales, or a similar role within the travel industry or related sectors.
Proven track record of successfully entering new markets and driving revenue growth.
Experience in setting hypotheses and running experiments to validate market opportunities.
Strong understanding of B2B sales principles, strategies, and scalable sales processes.
Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
Proficiency in CRM software, ideally Pipedrive.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a remote setting.
Strong organizational and time management skills.
Results-oriented with a track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
An existing network within the travel industry is a plus.
Fluent in English; additional languages are a plus.
