Job Overview

We are looking for a creative, passionate, and data-driven Multimedia Content Specialist to develop engaging digital content and strengthen social media presence across the Chinese market.

The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in video production, graphic design, and social media management, with a strong understanding of Chinese digital platforms, audience preferences, and emerging content trends.

What Will You Do:

• Video Production & Editing: Plan, film, and edit engaging short-form videos tailored for Chinese social media audiences.
• Creative Content Development: Develop creative concepts, scripts, storyboards, graphics, and multimedia materials aligned with marketing objectives.
• Content Planning & Strategy: Build content calendars, identify trending topics, and develop content strategies that improve audience reach and engagement.
• Social Media Management: Manage content publishing and optimisation across WeChat Channels, Douyin, Xiaohongshu (RED), and other relevant platforms.
• Personal Branding Support: Work with educators, presenters, and content creators to strengthen their personal branding through creative storytelling and content positioning.
• Presenter Coaching: Provide guidance on script delivery, on-camera presentation, filming techniques, and content quality.
• AI-Powered Content Creation: Utilise AI tools and creative technologies to improve video production, editing efficiency, and content development.
• Performance Monitoring: Track video views, engagement rates, audience growth, and lead generation to evaluate content effectiveness.
• Content Optimisation: Analyse content performance, identify improvement opportunities, and refine strategies to maximise reach and conversion.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with marketing and Business Development teams to support campaigns, brand awareness, and customer acquisition.

What Makes You a Good Fit:

• Minimum 1 year of relevant experience in multimedia content creation, video production, graphic design, social media management, or related fields.
• Hands-on experience in video filming, editing, graphic design, and social media content development.
• Good understanding of WeChat Channels, Douyin, and Xiaohongshu (RED), including platform algorithms, content trends, and community guidelines.
• Proficiency in creative tools such as CapCut, Adobe Premiere Pro, Photoshop, Illustrator, or similar software.
• Familiarity with AI-powered video editing, content generation, and creative production tools.
• Ability to create engaging content tailored to Chinese-speaking audiences.
• Strong storytelling, communication, and creative problem-solving skills.
• Comfortable coaching presenters and guiding individuals with limited filming experience.
• Ability to analyse content metrics and make data-driven improvements.
• Creative, proactive, detail-oriented, and comfortable working independently in a remote environment.
