Middle Backend Golang Engineer

We are looking for a Middle Backend Engineer (Golang) to develop reliable, scalable, and secure backend systems. The role involves building backend services, developing APIs, working with event-driven architectures, and contributing to system reliability, maintainability, and performance.

While the primary focus is backend development, occasional contributions to React-based frontend functionality may be required.

Responsibilities

• Develop, maintain, and enhance backend services in Golang, including RESTful APIs and data contracts.
• Implement and support asynchronous, event-driven communication, ensuring message reliability, error handling, and backward compatibility.
• Contribute to the development of distributed systems and microservices.
• Support application performance, reliability, and resource utilization improvements.
• Participate in technical discussions and contribute to implementation activities.
• Collaborate with team members through code reviews and knowledge sharing activities.
• Write and maintain unit and integration tests for APIs, business logic, and integrations.
• Develop secure APIs and service integrations, following authentication and authorization best practices.
• Build integrations with enterprise platforms such as Salesforce, Microsoft Dynamics, ServiceNow, Genesys Cloud, and other third-party systems.
• Support and maintain integrations between internal services and external enterprise platforms.

• 3+ years of experience as a Software Engineer.
• Experience building backend applications and services using Golang.
• Good understanding of concurrency in Golang and asynchronous workflows.
• Experience with event-driven architectures and message handling (e.g., Kafka, NATS, RabbitMQ, or similar technologies).
• Experience with AWS and cloud-native environments.
• Experience developing RESTful APIs and service integrations.
• Understanding of authentication, authorization, and secure API development principles.
• Experience with relational and/or NoSQL databases.
• Experience with Docker, Kubernetes.
• Experience with automated testing, including unit and integration testing.

• Nice to Have

• Experience with React, TypeScript, Protobuf, Azure or GCP.
• Experience with Keycloak, Auth0, Okta, or similar IAM solutions.
• Experience with monitoring and observability tools (e.g., Grafana, Prometheus).
