Medical Bill ProcessorThis is a detail-oriented data entry position supporting our medical bill review operations. The primary responsibility is the accurate input and maintenance of provider demographics, contract information, and medical bill details within our systems. Success in this role requires strong attention to detail, keyboarding accuracy, and the ability to work efficiently in a high-volume production environment.

PRIMARY PURPOSE OF THE ROLE: To code provider bills; to enter pre-coded billing data into the system; and to verify the output.

ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBLITIES MAY INCLUDE:

QUALIFICATIONS:

Education & Licensing - High School diploma or GED required.

Experience - One (1) year of general office experience or equivalent combination of education and experience required. Knowledge of medical terminology preferred.

Work environment requirements may include:

Physical: Computer keyboarding

Auditory/visual: Hearing, vision and talking
Mental: Clear and conceptual thinking ability; excellent judgement and discretion; ability to meet deadlines.

As required by law, Sedgwick provides a reasonable range of compensation for roles that may be hired in jurisdictions requiring pay transparency in job postings. Actual compensation is influenced by a wide range of factors including but not limited to skill set, level of experience, and cost of specific location. For the jurisdiction noted in this job posting only, the range of starting pay for this role is $21.00- $22.00/hr. A comprehensive benefits package is offered including but not limited to, medical, dental, vision, 401k and matching, PTO, disability and life insurance, employee assistance, flexible spending or health savings account, and other additional voluntary benefits.
