Position Summary – Flexible, High-Impact Premium Remote Academic Role
The Online Educator (LINC Fellow) functions as an independent academic contributor with LINC Education, delivering online facilitation services to postgraduate students enrolled in theMaster of Financial Planning(Online)offered byVictoria University Online. The programs are delivered in innovative formats such as Victoria University’s block model, where students complete one unit in intensive 8-week blocks.

Selected applicants will be engaged as independent contractors and will be offered a competitive fixed remuneration of $6800 to manage a class of approximately 25 students. Further upsides are available based on larger batch sizes as well as achievement-related increments of up to 20%.

Work Flexibility
Commitment of approximately10–15 hours per week, 7 days a week.
Fully remote working model
Requirement of astable internet connection and a distraction-free workspace
Availability throughout the weekbetween5 pm and 10 pmMelbourne time
Roles & Responsibilities:
The LINC Fellow is expected to:
Provide subject matter guidance to a cohort of25–30 postgraduate students
Conduct1:1 academic support sessions
Guide students on course content and assessments
Perform assessment grading with detailed, constructive feedback
Manage and moderate weekly discussion forums
Support students in developing academic skills such as writing, research, and time management
Deliver timely, proactive, and personalised support to student queries
Engagement with students will take place via email, calls, and online platforms within defined availability hours.
Desired candidate profile:
A Doctoral qualification or Masters degree of higher in Financial Planning, plus 5 years' experience either as an ASIC Approved Financial Adviser or 5 years' relevant teaching and/or research experience in the domain of financial planning in the last 10 years.
Registered Financial Planning Advisor Certification is mandatory.
Ability to quickly learn and use technology platforms for interacting with students, including the host university’s LMS and LINCtrac (training on these platforms will be provided). The candidate also needs to be available between 5 pm and 10 pm AEST every day.

Availability Requirement
The candidate is expected to be available between5 pm - 10 pm Melbourne time, 7 days a week, during which they may put in 1-2 hours of work based on student needs and marking load.
