Marketing Technology, AI & Digital Experience Lead

We are looking for a Marketing Technology, AI & Digital Experience Lead to own the technology, platforms, and digital experiences that power Neptune Software's global marketing engine.

This is a unique opportunity for someone who enjoys combining technology, creativity, AI, and operational excellence. You will be responsible for the overall health, performance, and evolution of our digital ecosystem—from our corporate website and marketing technology platforms to AI-powered workflows and digital experiences that support awareness, demand generation, and revenue growth.

Working closely with Digital Marketing, Demand Generation, Product Marketing, Regional Marketing, Design, and IT, you will translate marketing strategy into seamless digital execution. You'll be the person who makes ideas happen—building digital experiences, implementing new technologies, automating repetitive work, and helping our marketing organization become increasingly AI-enabled.

This role is ideal for someone who is passionate about modern web technologies, marketing operations, artificial intelligence, and continuously improving how marketing teams work.

Key Responsibilities
Website Strategy, Management & Operations
Own Neptune's corporate website as one of the company's most important business assets.

• Develop and execute the website roadmap aligned with business and marketing priorities.
• Manage the day-to-day operation, maintenance, performance, and continuous improvement of Neptune's global website.
• Own website hosting, security, monitoring, uptime, technical health, and performance optimization.
• Manage our CMS (currently WordPress) while continuously evaluating new platforms, technologies, and architectures that improve agility, scalability, and content management.
• Build and maintain website pages, landing pages, campaign microsites, resource centers, and digital experiences that support global marketing initiatives.
• Ensure an exceptional user experience across desktop and mobile.
• Optimize Core Web Vitals, accessibility, page speed, and overall technical performance.
• Partner closely with the Digital Marketing team to implement SEO, AEO, structured data, schema markup, and technical optimizations that improve discoverability.
• Continuously evaluate opportunities to modernize our website architecture, including headless CMS and composable digital experience platforms where appropriate.

Marketing Technology
Own and continuously improve Neptune's marketing technology ecosystem.

• Help administer, optimize, and evolve our marketing technology stack, including HubSpot and related platforms.
• Manage integrations between our website, CRM, marketing automation, analytics, forms, and other marketing systems.
• Ensure reliable lead capture, tracking, tagging, analytics, and campaign infrastructure.
• Evaluate and implement new marketing technologies that improve team productivity and business outcomes.
• Partner closely with Demand Generation and Marketing Operations to support campaign execution and reporting.
• Document processes, establish best practices, and improve operational efficiency across Marketing.

AI Enablement
Lead the adoption of Artificial Intelligence across Neptune's Marketing organization.

• Identify opportunities to leverage AI to improve productivity, creativity, campaign execution, and operational efficiency.
• Research, evaluate, and introduce emerging AI technologies that help Marketing work smarter.
• Build AI-powered workflows, assistants, copilots, GPTs, and agents that automate repetitive marketing activities.
• Help teams leverage AI for content creation, image generation, video production, research, reporting, campaign execution, and knowledge management.
• Stay current with emerging AI trends and recommend practical applications that strengthen Neptune's marketing capabilities.
• Promote AI best practices and help build an AI-first culture across the Marketing organization.

Digital Experience
Help create exceptional digital experiences throughout the buyer journey.

• Build engaging landing pages and digital experiences that support global campaigns and product launches.
• Continuously optimize user journeys, navigation, conversion paths, forms, and content discoverability.
• Partner with Design and Product Marketing to ensure digital experiences reflect Neptune's brand, positioning, and messaging.
• Support website personalization, experimentation, A/B testing, and continuous conversion optimization.
• Ensure consistency and quality across all digital touchpoints.

Innovation & Continuous Improvement
Serve as Marketing's technology and digital innovation advisor.

• Continuously evaluate emerging technologies, AI tools, CMS platforms, and digital trends.
• Recommend improvements to website architecture, digital workflows, marketing operations, and automation.
• Introduce scalable solutions that reduce manual work, improve speed to market, and increase Marketing effectiveness.
• Champion a culture of innovation, experimentation, and continuous improvement across the team.

your profile

Required Experience

• 5+ years of experience managing websites, digital platforms, or marketing technology within a B2B technology organization.
• Strong experience managing WordPress or other enterprise CMS platforms.
• Experience supporting marketing teams through website development, landing pages, digital campaigns, and marketing operations.
• Experience managing website hosting, performance optimization, security, integrations, and technical operations.
• Experience collaborating with developers, designers, marketers, and cross-functional teams.

Preferred Experience

• Experience with HubSpot or similar marketing automation platforms.
• Experience working with Salesforce or other CRM systems.
• Experience supporting enterprise B2B marketing organizations.
• Experience in SaaS, Enterprise Software, AI, Low-Code, or SAP ecosystems.

Skills & Capabilities
