📓About the role

The Marketing & Demand Generation Manager turns marketing strategy into pipeline. This is a hands-on, execution-focused role covering campaign delivery, content, demand generation programmes, and marketing operations for their region.

The role works closely with the regional Commercial Director on priorities and with the Fractional CMO on strategic alignment, translating business goals into day-to-day marketing execution.

This role suits someone equally comfortable writing a blog post, briefing a paid campaign, building a nurture flow, and pulling together a pipeline report.

The Marketing & Demand Generation Manager reports to the Commercial Director for their region, with a dotted line into the Fractional CMO.

🚀 Key Responsibilities

1. Campaigns

• Develop campaign concepts and bring them to life end-to-end
• Own campaign execution across channels including email, web, paid, social, and events
• Review campaign performance and iterate based on results

2. Content & Thought Leadership

• Own content strategy and planning for the region
• Write and produce blog posts, long-form content, case studies, and customer stories
• Develop whitepapers, reports, and guides
• Write website copy and landing pages
• Produce sales enablement content
• Support executive and founder thought leadership

3. Demand Generation & Website Conversion

• Contribute to demand generation strategy and forecasting
• Manage channel performance across owned and paid channels
• Drive lead and account acquisition
• Build and manage lifecycle and nurture programmes
• Contribute to website conversion optimisation and experimentation

4. Paid Media & ABM

• Contribute to paid media and account-based marketing strategy
• Support target account selection and orchestration
• Iterate on ad creative and messaging
• Own paid performance reporting

5. Events

• Support planning and delivery of owned events, webinars, and third-party events and sponsorships
• Own event messaging and creative direction alongside the Designer
• Analyse event performance and report on ROI

6. Social & Committee

• Contribute to organic social strategy
• Plan platform-specific content
• Own day-to-day posting and scheduling

7. Sales Alignment & Enablement

• Define and manage lead quality standards
• Support buying group engagement
• Develop sales enablement materials alongside the Commercial Director
• Run feedback loops between sales and marketing

8. CRM, Data & Marketing Operations

• Own CRM ownership and hygiene for marketing
• Manage marketing automation
• Maintain data governance and quality
• Own attribution and reporting
• Build dashboards and surface insights
• Manage marketing tools and platforms

9. Reporting

• Own weekly and monthly revenue reporting and comms for the region
• Support long-form video and webinar performance analysis

🏗️ To excel in this role, you should have the following

• Experience in a B2B marketing or demand generation role, ideally in SaaS, Technology, CRM, Consulting, or Digital services
• Hands-on experience running multi-channel campaigns from concept through to performance review
• Strong content skills, comfortable writing blogs, case studies, and website copy
• Experience with HubSpot CRM and Marketing Hub, or equivalent platforms
• Understanding of paid media, ABM, and lifecycle and nurture programmes
• Comfortable owning reporting, attribution, and dashboarding
• Experience working closely with sales teams on lead quality and enablement
