Manager, Virtual Advice

Responsible for leading a team of 10-15 nationally licensed advisors that serve clients in all 50 states through phone, screen share, and video. Manages performance and sales results to ensure goals are reached across all levels – the business, the team, and advisors. Responsible for driving team revenue of $1.5M+ annually. Collaborates with broader sales leadership team to ensure delivery of a consistent approach to client experience and core expectations.

This can be a remote position within the US.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Responsible for team revenueof$1.5M+

• Accountablefortheretention and engagement of a combined 800kclients.

• Lead anddeliversteam-based and individual coachingregularly,ondailyandweeklybasis,tocultivatestrong consultative sales skills, deliver advice-based recommendations, and foster professional development and career growth.

• Responsible forconductinginterviewsandmakingtalentselectionsbasedon attrition and future growthrequirements.

• Provides onboardingandtraining that ensures strong speed to productivity and skill set development.

• Collaborateswiththe internal centers of excellenceto ensure team membersreceivethe training and resources necessaryforsucceed, all whilebuilding self-sufficiency.

• Build and foster a culture centered aroundthe organization’sculture, mission,visionand values.

• Willingness and ability to lead from the front – i.e.,demonstratingknowledge and skills through case work and occasionally joining client calls to support your team.

• Partner with sales director to conduct quarterly business planning and manage performance expectations.

• Responsible for contributing to information needed, decision making, andtooperatingin line with budgetary decisions.

This position must understand customer needs, the organization’s member philosophy, and service standards to effectively lead the team to provide a consistent and positive client experience. They will regularly need to address working standards, process improvement, and employee performance as it relates to ease of doing business, channel conflict, client service, and regulatory requirements.

This position must understand sales process and fundamental elements of the sale toidentifyprocess improvement andappropriate training, technological, or other changesrequiredto improve client satisfaction. Necessary improvements can take hours or months and may require legal, field supervision, compliance, processing, and other department involvement and engagement.

This position is regularly tasked with communicating decisions, requests, and information to FRs and field leaders. This may require actively engaging multiple information systems and departments for background before formulating a response. Such work requires response within hours or days.

QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLS: 

Required:

• College degree in business, management, related business field, or equivalent experience.

• Prior experience as a financial advisor.

• Possession of a FINRA Series 7, 63/65 or 66 and Life/Health Insurance licenses is highly desired.and must beobtained within120daysof hire/transfer.

• 5+ years’ experience of leading a team of 8 or more direct reports is highly desired.

• Must be eligible to be Securities and Insurance licensed in all 50 states and the District of Columbia

• Previousexperience in financial planning, investment products, and insurance products.

• Prior training and experience with consultative, needs-based sales models (Integrity Selling or similar)

• Experience leadingchangein a fast-paced, high-growthenvironment.

The applicable salary or hourly wage range for this full-time role is $94,389.00 - $127,703.00 per year, which factors in various geographic regions.
