Partner operations, business development enablement, supplier management, client implementation coordination, operational excellence, and cross-functional process improvement.

Scope

North America, spanning internal business functions and external supplier relationships; partner operations, implementation support, operational documentation, process optimization, and operational reporting.

Salary Range: 95,000-100,000 CAD

Role Overview

The Manager, Partnerships is positioned as the operational hub between Business Development, Client Services, and our external partners. The role is responsible for ensuring supplier relationships, operational processes, project coordination, documentation, and implementation activities are managed efficiently to support successful client delivery and scalable growth.

The successful candidate is a highly organized, detail-oriented problem solver who enjoys building structure, improving processes, coordinating cross-functional initiatives, and developing practical solutions that enable teams to work more efficiently.

Key Responsibilities

Business Development Enablement

• Collect, organize, and maintain supplier information, pricing, capabilities, implementation requirements, and commercial documentation.
• Support the preparation of client proposals, RFP responses, and solution recommendations by providing accurate operational and supplier information.
• Conduct supplier comparisons and recommend potential partners based on operational capabilities, geographic coverage, service offerings, and client requirements.
• Coordinate supplier information requests and maintain an up-to-date repository of operational knowledge to support Sales and Business Development activities.
• Produce sales, redemption, supplier, and operational reporting to support business planning and decision-making.
• Evaluate AI-enabled tools (e.g., for supplier research, document generation, or data analysis) to improve operational efficiency.

Partner & Supplier Management

• Coordinate the onboarding of new suppliers and partners, ensuring operational readiness for client programs.
• Maintain relationships with suppliers, and strategic operational partners serving as a primary operational contact.
• Monitor supplier performance and identify opportunities to improve operational efficiency and service delivery.
• Stay current on AI and automation trends relevant to partner operations and vendor management and recommend practical applications.

Client Implementation & Operational Project Coordination

• Coordinate supplier setup during new client implementations and major program enhancements.
• Support the development of implementation plans for ops workstreams.
• Ensure operational deliverables are completed on schedule, and stakeholders remain informed throughout project execution.

Process Improvement & Operational Enablement

• Identify operational inefficiencies and recommend practical improvements to workflows and business processes.
• Document existing processes, evaluate opportunities for improvement, and work with stakeholders to implement approved changes.
• Collaborate with other departments to improve implementation guides, operational handoffs, communication, and project coordination.
• Support the development of tools, templates, trackers, and reporting that improve operational efficiency and organizational scalability.

• Promote a culture of continuous improvement through documentation, standardization, and process optimization.
• Support onboarding and training through clear operational documentation.
• Identify opportunities to apply AI and automation tools to streamline partner operations, reporting, and implementation workflows.
• Champion responsible adoption of AI tools across the team, ensuring outputs are reviewed for accuracy and compliance.

Reporting & Operational Insights

• Prepare operational dashboards, executive reports, project updates, and management reporting.
• Support executive reporting by gathering, validating, and presenting operational data in a clear and meaningful format.

Required Experience and Capabilities

• Bachelor’s degree in business administration or commerce; or
• 5+ years of progressive experience in Operations, Vendor Management, Partnership Management, or a related operational role.
• Experience working with external suppliers, and strategic partners.
• Demonstrated success working on cross-functional projects involving multiple internal stakeholders.
• Experience developing operational documentation, SOPs, or process guides.
• Experience supporting client implementations or operational projects.
• Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Microsoft Office.
