TheManager, Global TaxStrategywill partner with the global tax department, corporate functions, and operating company teams to support the development, execution, and documentation ofVeralto’sglobal tax strategy.

This is an individual contributor position reporting to theSenior Manager of Global Tax Strategy. The role will primarily support global tax planning, mergers and acquisitions, cross-borderstructuring, transfer pricing, cash management, and legal entity initiatives. It will also build relationships across Corporate Development, Treasury, Controllership, Legal, FP&A, and operational teams.

This position works closely with global stakeholders and may be structured as remote, with a preference for candidates located in the Eastern or Central time zones, or hybrid with required presence at Veralto’s headquarters in Waltham, Massachusetts.

This role requires the ability to periodically travel domestically and internationally. The travel may vary but isanticipatedto be onaquarterly basis.

In this role, a typical day will look like:

• Strategy– Co-develop andassistglobal tax efforts in support of the company’s global strategies while working directly with the Senior Director of Global Tax Strategy. Initiate andfacilitaterationalization efforts.

• Strategic Business Partnering– Be a trusted business partnertoVeralto’soperating companies. Regularly interact with designated individuals within the operating companiesregardingtax compliance, tax benefits and risks, and the interrelationship between operational decisions/direction.

• M&A– support M&A due diligence, pre and post transaction structuring, and financing.

• Transfer pricing –Support transfer pricing initiatives, operating model design, value chain transformation initiatives, and controversy matters while working directly with the Director of Global Transfer Pricing.

• Cash Management– Support global cash management initiatives, including intercompany cash flows, cash repatriation, intercompany loans, and other transactions asidentifiedthrough partnership with the treasury team.

• International Tax Advisory –Interface with external business partners and tax advisors to execute due diligence and transaction planning, assess potential impacts andadvisesenior tax management on potential implications and countermeasures.

• Legal Entity Management –Manage the establishment or elimination of legal entities, including maintenance plans and associated supporting documentation.

• Advisors and Budget Management– Manage external advisory support along with budgets andtimelyaccruals.

• Process Improvements– Expand the use of technology and automation by makingproactivesuggestions toeliminatewaste and improve efficiency.

• Governance Framework– Support compliance with and refinement of established tax policies and procedures asset forth inthe company’s tax manual and other interacting policies like the business change management policy.

The essential requirements of the job include

• Bachelor’s degree in Tax, Finance, Accounting, ora relatedfield.CPA and/or JD.

• At least 6 years of cross-border structuring experience involving U.S. and international tax rules and global tax planning concepts.

• Experienceoperatingin a complex global enterprise and/oradvisingcomplex global enterprises through a major accounting or law firm.

• Working knowledgeof US tax principles and US tax accounting (current and deferred tax) rules

pursuant toASC740.

• Ability to travel domestically and internationally

It would be a plus if you also possess

• M&A tax experience, including due diligence and pre-acquisition or post-acquisition planning.

• Transfer pricing, supply chain planning, or value chain transformation exposure.

• Financing structuringor global cash management experience.

• A master’s degree in Tax, an MBA, or another relevant advanced degree.

• Experience with tax technology, automation, or transformation solutions such as Alteryx.

The below range reflects the range of possible compensation for this role at the time of this posting. We may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range. This range may be modified in the future. An associate’s position within the salary range will be based on several factors, including, but not limited to, relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, geographic location, performance, shift, travel requirements, sales or revenue-based metrics, any collective bargaining agreements, and business or organizational needs.

The compensation range for this role is $135,000 - $155,000 USD per year. This job is also eligible for Bonus Pay.
