Job Role: Lead Generation & Sales Qualification Representative

Compensation range: $1,500 AUD - $2,000 AUD / Monthly

Engagement type:Independent Contractor Agreement

Work Schedule: This role is expected to align with the AU business hours (approx. 9 AM - 5 PM, Monday to Friday) for collaboration, but as a contractor, you’ll have flexibility in how you manage your time.

Who We Are: At Hunt St, we help Australian companies hire top remote talent in the Philippines. For this role, you will be engaged directly by the client as an independent contractor. We are not an outsourcing agency. All of our roles are 100% remote, so you'll be able to work from home.

Who The Client Is: We operate within the lift solutions and vertical transportation industry, providing tailored elevator systems for residential, commercial, and industrial applications. Our focus is on delivering safe, reliable, and efficient solutions that integrate seamlessly with building designs while meeting the practical needs of property owners, builders, and developers.

Role Overview: We are seeking a Sales Development Representative – Lifts & Elevators to identify new construction opportunities across Victoria, engage builders and project teams, and qualify potential lift projects for the sales team. The role combines proactive B2B sales, construction tender research, technical data review using AI tools, and lead management.

Key Responsibilities:

• Search EstimateOne for new Victorian construction projects that include lifts (commercial, industrial, mixed-use, self-storage, multi-unit residential)
• Call the builder, estimator or project manager early to introduce our company and understand their lift requirements: lift type and use, number of floors, load, budget expectations, project stage and timing
• Download tender documents and drawings and run them through our AI drawing-reading tool to extract the lift details (number of floors, number of lifts, load capacity, lift type, shaft dimensions)
• Compare the AI results with what the client said on the call, and flag any gaps for review
• Enter client requirements and lift data into monday.com accurately on the same day
• Provide initial budget prices using our internal price guide
• Confirm timing: does the client need a lift within 3 months, or in 3–12 months?
• Identify the decision maker and record their contact details
• Hand over qualified “ready now” leads to our sales team with a complete summary
• Follow up “later” leads at the right time and track tender results to contact winning builders
• Answer inbound enquiries by phone and email during Melbourne business hours
• When time allows, support our online presence (website content, Google Business Profile, LinkedIn)
• Send a short end-of-week report: projects found, clients called, budget prices sent, leads handed over

Required Skills and Qualifications:

• Strong natural sales ability: persuasive, confident and able to build trust with business clients quickly
• Excellent spoken and written English with a neutral accent, easily understood by Australian clients on the phone
• Comfortable making cold calls and handling objections
• Detail-oriented, with strong CRM discipline and consistent follow-up
• Comfortable using AI tools, and able to spot obvious errors in AI-extracted data

Preferred:

• Lift or elevator sales experience in any market is highly preferred (e.g. selling lifts in the Philippines or elsewhere), including experience with lift tenders, specifications or working with builders on lift packages. Knowledge of the Australian market is not required.
• Proven B2B sales experience and a track record of closing deals. Base salary will be higher for candidates with stronger sales and closing ability.
• Experience with EstimateOne, Cordell Connect or a similar construction tender platform
• Background in construction, building services, HVAC or electrical
• Basic SEO knowledge (keyword research, website content, WordPress, Google Business Profile)
• A degree or diploma in engineering, construction management or business
