The Technical Lead drives the technical direction of our engineering team, ensuring the delivery and ongoing support of scalable, high quality, and reliable software solutions. This role blends hands on engineering, architecture, leadership, and production support ownership, guiding developers through the full lifecycle, from design and build to deployment, monitoring, and operational excellence.

This position is ideal for someone passionate about building and supporting customer‑facing applications in a highly available, production‑ready environment. The Technical Lead leverages Agile principles, DevOps practices, modern cloud‑native technologies, and AI‑enabled capabilities to improve developer productivity, system reliability, operational efficiency, and service quality. A strong problem solver who balances technical depth with business awareness and responsible AI adoption will thrive in this role.

Key Responsibilities

The Technical Lead will have a broad set of responsibilities including, but not limited to, the following:

Technical Leadership & Delivery

• Lead a team of onshore and offshore engineers through design, development, code reviews and releases of .NET applications.
• Translate complex business problems into technical solutions
• Lead large software initiatives from ideation through delivery, deployment, and post production stabilization.
• Play a critical role in architecture, design, and technical decision making, with a strong emphasis on reliability, scalability, and maintainability.
• Write well designed, well tested, readable, and maintainable code aligned with enterprise standards.
• Participate in and lead code reviews to ensure quality, consistency, and knowledge sharing.
• Improve adherence to coding standards, test practices, secure coding techniques, and architectural guidelines.
• Evaluate and adopt AI‑enabled tools and frameworks (e.g., developer copilots, AI‑assisted testing, code quality, and observability tools) to improve engineering efficiency and solution quality.

Cross Functional Collaboration

• Collaborate with App dev, PMO, QA, DevOps, and business stakeholders to:
  • Define and maintain a technically feasible roadmap
  • Scope, design, and deliver solutions addressing business needs
  • Balance feature delivery with stability and supportability
• Build strong relationships across teams, creating and maintaining trust with business Stakeholders
• Communicate technical and AI‑related concepts clearly to both technical and non‑technical audiences.

People & Process Leadership

• Possess strong interpersonal and leadership skills
• Mentor and coach engineers, with focus on production ownership, operational awareness, and engineering maturity.
• Foster a culture of continuous improvement, accountability, and operational excellence.
• Champion Agile best practices, including CI/CD, test driven development, and continuous improvement of delivery and support processes.
• Act as an AI change agent, guiding the team through the evolving AI landscape and helping engineers adopt AI tools effectively and responsibly.

Education

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or related field required
• Master’s degree preferred

Experience

• 2+ years of proven success as a Technical Lead in application development space
• 8+ years of experience with Microsoft stack technologies:
  • NET/ .NET Core, C#, Visual Studio, Entity Framework, SQL Server

• Front end technologies:
  • JavaScript, jQuery, HTML, CSS
  • Angular (v18), React (v16)

• Cloud & DevOps:
  • Azure services (Functions, Service Bus, Key Vault, etc.) or equivalent
  • Azure DevOps
  • CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices

• Strong experience building component based, responsive web applications.
• Experience supporting enterprise scale production systems, preferably in regulated industries (Healthcare preferred).
• Experience with:
  • Agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban, SAFe)
  • Transactional databases and caching strategies
  • Test driven development, unit/integration testing
  • Public and internal APIs, integration frameworks
  • Microservices and event driven architectures
  • Performance tuning and troubleshooting production systems
  • Secure software development practices

• Demonstrated ability to lead and influence without authority.
• Excellent communication, collaboration, and stakeholder management skills.
• Strong balance of technical depth, operational mindset, and business priorities.
• Experience with AI assisted development tools (e.g., GitHub Copilot, Azure OpenAI, AI based code quality or observability tools).

Preferred / Nice to Have Qualifications

• Experience with AI assisted development tools (e.g., GitHub Copilot, Azure OpenAI, AI based code quality or observability tools).
• Exposure to AI/ML enabled features such as intelligent search, recommendations, chatbots, or automation within enterprise applications.
• Familiarity with responsible AI practices, data privacy, and secure AI integration in enterprise environments.
