Today, Smart Suites manages short-term rental accommodation across Rocklea, Sunnybank, Acacia Ridge, and nearby areas in Queensland, Australia. We adopt AI-driven tools, structured systems, and clear operating standards to improve efficiency, decision-making, guest experience, and business growth.

We're now looking for a Junior Marketing Specialist who is organized, creative, analytical, and excited to support digital marketing, content, lead generation, research, campaigns, and brand-building initiatives.

Important Notes Before You Apply

Role Type: Full-time independent contractor, not a permanent employee role

Compensation: AUD $1,000 – $1,300 per month, all-inclusive

Schedule: Flexible full-time role, Monday to Sunday as required

Location: Work from anywhere in the Philippines

What You'll Do

• Website, SEO & Digital Content: Assist with website updates, basic SEO, keyword research, metadata updates, landing pages, and content improvements

• Social Media & Content Management: Draft captions, social posts, newsletters, and promotional materials; schedule posts and monitor engagement

• Lead Generation & Market Research: Research potential customers, partners, property opportunities, agencies, and market segments

• Prospect Database Management: Build and maintain lead lists, research trackers, and prospect databases

• Digital Campaign Support: Assist with Meta, Google, email, and other digital campaigns

• Email Marketing & CRM: Support email campaign creation, segmentation, scheduling, automation, and CRM updates

• Brand Management: Help maintain consistent messaging and presentation across Smart Suites' digital channels

• Partnership Support: Research partnership opportunities and assist with outreach, follow-ups, and documentation

• Analytics & Reporting: Track website, social, campaign, email, lead, and engagement metrics

• Project Coordination: Maintain marketing trackers, SOPs, files, dashboards, and project updates

• AI & Automation: Use AI and workflow automation tools to improve research, content creation, reporting, and repetitive marketing tasks

• Ad Hoc Marketing Support: Assist with award submissions, pitch decks, photoshoot coordination, event logistics, vendor sign-offs, and time-sensitive marketing projects

What We're Looking For

• 1–2 years of experience in digital marketing, social media, lead generation, content marketing, or a related role

• Strong entry-level candidates with relevant practical experience may also be considered

• Basic understanding of social media, SEO, paid advertising, email marketing, and lead generation

• Good written communication and copywriting skills

• Comfortable working with spreadsheets, reports, trackers, and basic marketing data

• Strong research skills and attention to detail

• Organised, proactive, coachable, and able to manage multiple tasks and deadlines

• Comfortable learning new digital tools and marketing platforms

• Confident using AI tools to research, create, analyse, and improve work

• Experience in hospitality, property, accommodation, travel, or service-based businesses is an advantage
