About the Team
The Growth team drives user and revenue growth across ChatGPT’s consumer and business segments worldwide. We work across the full funnel, from acquisition and activation to retention and monetization, through product experiments, in-product improvements, performance marketing, creative development, and AI-powered workflows.
The International Growth team works with regional leaders in priority markets to identify the user needs and product gaps that matter most for adoption, usage, and monetization. We turn country priorities into product roadmaps and growth plans, then partner with engineering, research, design, data science, marketing, finance, policy, and partnerships to test and ship improvements.
We combine product strategy with hands-on growth operations. We account for local behavior, competition, and product experience while building shared capabilities such as segmentation, lifecycle journeys, and experimentation systems. We measure what ships, adapt it to the market, and scale approaches that work across markets.
About the Role
We’re looking for a growth lead in France to shape and execute ChatGPT’s growth plans. You’ll partner with the France GM to understand local users, identify the biggest growth opportunities, and turn those priorities into product improvements, funnel optimizations, and performance marketing tests. You’ll work across acquisition, activation, retention, and monetization, collaborating with Product, Engineering, Design, Data Science, Partnerships, and Marketing teams to influence priorities and ship measurable impact. The role combines product growth and funnel optimization with performance marketing: connecting audience, message, creative, and channel learnings to better in-product journeys.
In this role, you will:
Partner with the France GM, regional teams, and central teams to set a country growth plan and roadmap priorities, with clear hypotheses, owners, dependencies, and measurable outcomes.
Use user research, funnel and cohort data, and competitive insight to find local friction and prioritize the opportunities that matter most to users.
Run performance marketing tests in collaboration with regional marketers across relevant channels, creators, and partners; use incrementally, CAC, payback, and LTV to decide what to scale.
Design and run rigorous experiments across onboarding, activation, repeat usage, re-engagement, and paid conversion; measure incremental impact and iterate. Work with Product, Engineering, Design, and Data Science partners to prototype, test, and ship locally relevant experiences.
Partner with regional Marketing and central media teams to brief and prioritize audience, positioning, creative, and channel tests based on the country plan.
Own the country growth scorecard across acquisition, retention, paid conversion, and unit economics, distinguishing incremental user and revenue gains and learnings
Connect priority use cases, product improvements, and acquisition plans into a coherent journey from first exposure to repeated value.
Run the growth operating cadence with the GM and regional teams, aligning central and local partners on results, trade-offs, dependencies, and next steps.
Build and operate product experimentation capabilities, segmentation, lifecycle/user journeys, performance marketing, and growth platform/tooling that can be scaled across markets.
You might thrive in this role if you have:
10+ years of experience across product growth, data science, or growth strategy and operations, with hands-on execution in a fast-moving technology company.
A user-first track record of turning local research and behavior into product and growth priorities, then shipping improvements with measurable impact.
Strong command of acquisition, activation, retention, and monetization funnels, including technically rigorous experimentation and interpretation.
Practical performance marketing experience across audience, channel, creative, and measurement decisions, and the ability to partner effectively with media specialists.
Analytical fluency in cohort analysis and growth economics, including incrementality, LTV, CAC, payback, and contribution margin.
Experience adapting and running campaigns across markets, using local audience behavior, channels, language, and cultural context to improve relevance and performance at scale.
Experience owning growth goals and delivering measurable user or revenue outcomes across product and marketing levers.
The ability to influence and align central and regional teams, translate local needs into scalable approaches, and make progress through ambiguity.
