We are currently seeking an experienced Implementation Consultant – Data Migration to support the delivery of complex technology implementation and data transformation projects. The successful candidate will combine strong SQL and data migration expertise with excellent analytical, communication, and customer-facing skills. Experience within pensions, insurance, financial services, or another highly regulated environment would be advantageous.

This opportunity is a full-time, work-from-home opportunity based in UK, initially offered for a period of 12 months with the possibility of extension.

What you'll do

• Design, build and optimise SQL-based migration and reporting solutions
• Develop migration strategies, plans, cutover approaches and rollback controls
• Profile source data and define mapping, transformation, cleansing, reconciliation and validation rules
• Run ETL operations ensuring accuracy, completeness and minimal service disruption
• Automate migrations using T-SQL and related tooling
• Tune performance through indexing, partitioning and query optimisation
• Identify migration risks and drive mitigation and remediation
• Support configuration of workflows, interfaces, payroll data and reports
• Ensure compliance with data protection, privacy, version control and change management
• Document, train and hand over knowledge to clients and internal teams

• Excel macros or other scripting and programming languages
