We are looking for a strategic, results-driven Head of Marketing to lead Marketing into its next stage as a strategic function with a measurable contribution to revenue. Reporting to the Global CRO, you'll own Marketing's strategy, budget, team, and results across two different markets: the US, where we are building brand and pipeline, and Mexico and LATAM, where we grow relationships with referenceable logos.
This is a senior leadership role for someone with sharp business judgment. You'll decide where the budget goes and why, make Marketing's impact visible and trusted by Sales and leadership, and lead a senior team of specialists who work with AI every day.
The ideal candidate is a hands-on manager with the ability to take strategic actions while leading the marketing department.

Responsibilities 🤓

Strategy & positioning
- Define Marketing's strategy and annual plan, aligned with commercial targets by geography.
- Sharpen Muttdata's positioning in Data & AI services, with a differentiated story for the US , for Mexico, and for LATAM.
- Contribute to leadership decisions on priority verticals and US go-to-market, and turn them into Marketing plans. Revenue, budget & attribution
- Own Marketing's contribution to pipeline, not MQL volume.
- Create a solid strategy that drives organic leads with clear intention.
- Define lead and attribution standards with Sales, and make sure both teams adopt them.
- Allocate the budget across brand, demand generation, and account growth by market, and review it quarterly based on results. Brand & content
- Build a brand in a market where we're still unknown: executive thought leadership, POV content, case studies with real numbers, and memorable events.
- Lead a content engine that ranks in search, GEO, and LLMs, and keep brand consistency across everything Muttdata publishes. Team leadership & operating model
- Lead and develop a senior team of specialists, each owning a domain with clear KPIs, and build an impact-based career path with People.
- Run Marketing with a clear cadence of goals, reviews, and dashboards, and represent Marketing in front of the CEO, CROs, and peer areas.
- Make AI part of how the team works, with humans validating every output.

What success looks like

First 90 days
Diagnose and align
- Clear view of what to keep or change; lead and attribution standards agreed with Sales; budget split by market approved; Marketing reporting in dashboards

Build the engine
Nurturing, ABM, and executive content running with steady cadence; brand baseline in place; each team member with clear KPIs
12 months
Strategic function
Marketing pipeline on plan and trusted by leadership; growing brand awareness in the US; an AI-enabled team that grows impact faster than headcount

Required Skills 💻

• 5–10+ years in B2B marketing, including 3–5 years leading a marketing function and a senior team.

• Track record in B2B technology, IT services, consulting, or SaaS, with complex solutions and long sales cycles.

• Proven ownership of a marketing budget and pipeline targets, with results you can walk us through in numbers.

• Experience defining lead and attribution models and Marketing–Sales processes, using HubSpot and funnel dashboards.

• Experience with ABM and with building a brand in a new market, including defending brand investment to leadership.

• Strong positioning and storytelling skills: able to turn technical expertise (Data, ML, AI) into a sharp point of view for executive buyers.

• Practical use of AI in marketing workflows, and the ability to lead a team through that change.

• Fluent English (written and spoken).

Nice to have

• Experience marketing to US enterprise buyers from a LATAM-based company.

• Experience marketing Data, AI, or cloud services, ideally in a technology consultancy.

• Experience with partner co-marketing programs (AWS, Databricks, Google Cloud, or similar).

• Experience with SEO, GEO, and content strategy for LLM visibility.
