The Role

You'll design, pitch, and build custom outbound systems for our clients. Every client is different. One might be a PE-backed services firm prospecting into CFOs. Another might be a staffing company running high-volume multichannel outreach, or a niche B2B firm that needs signal-based targeting. You'll figure out what will generate pipeline for each one, make the case for it, and then build it and run it.

This role is half consultant, half engineer. You'll be on client calls bringing ideas the client hasn't considered, and then you'll be the one who ships them. If you only want to build, or only want to advise, this isn't the right fit.

What You'll Do

• Run discovery with clients to understand their ICP, offer, sales motion, and what they've already tried
• Propose new outreach strategies and campaign concepts, and explain the expected impact in business terms
• Build enrichment, scoring, and personalization workflows in Clay, including waterfall enrichment, signal detection (hiring, funding, tech stack changes, leadership moves), AI research and copy columns, and custom HTTP API integrations
• Build and manage multichannel sequences (email and LinkedIn) in La Growth Machine
• Build and maintain the workflows that connect the stack in n8n (our primary automation platform, with some Make.com), syncing Clay and LGM with client CRMs such as HubSpot through webhooks and APIs, including unsubscribe and suppression handling
• Own deliverability for your campaigns: domain and inbox setup, warmup, sending limits, and monitoring
• Track results, diagnose what isn't working, and iterate quickly
• Turn one-off builds into reusable templates, Clay tables, and n8n workflows so each new client launches faster
• Manage 3-5 client accounts at once, with clear timelines and proactive communication

What You Bring

Required

• 2+ years building outbound automation, with advanced Clay experience (beyond templates): HTTP API calls, formulas, conditional runs, and AI columns with structured prompts
• Hands-on multichannel outbound experience in LGM or a comparable tool (HeyReach, Lemlist, Smartlead, Instantly, Expandi)
• Hands-on n8n experience: building multi-step workflows with webhooks, API calls, branching logic, and error handling. Strong Make.com or Zapier builders who are ready to ramp on n8n quickly will be considered
• Working knowledge of cold email deliverability
• Experience with all major CRM platforms
• Client-facing experience: you've run discovery calls, presented recommendations, and handled pushback
• Strong writing skills. You'll write outreach copy, client-facing documents, and build notes. Copywriting can start with AI, but this role requires someone who knows how to turn an AI draft into a high-converting outreach message.
• Sound judgment on outreach compliance (CAN-SPAM, GDPR, opt-out handling)

Nice to Have

• Direct LGM experience
• An agency or consulting background
• Experience running outbound into PE-backed or mid-market companies
• JavaScript or Python, for n8n Code nodes and custom data transformations
• Familiarity with data providers such as Apollo, ZoomInfo, or Clearbit
