About viral.app
viral.app is the software brands and agencies use to run UGC marketing at scale. It helps to hire creators, track every video on TikTok, Instagram, YouTube, Facebook and Snapchat, and pay creators based on performance.
So far the founders have run marketing alongside everything else: SEO and content, free tools, our newsletter The FYP Leak, Google Ads, and posts on LinkedIn and X. Tracking and a lot of the scrappy growth work already run on AI automations we built ourselves. We're hiring a Growth Lead for the channels and content that don't automate well and need skill and taste.
This is a hands-on role. You set the plan and do most of the work together with the founders.
Your tasks
Own growth end to end: the plan, the budget and the execution.
Build a niche audience around creator marketing on LinkedIn and X under your own name. If you already have one, bring it. If you don't, you're motivated to build it from zero.
Create the content formats that are hard to automate, for example short-form video, customer stories, founder-led posts and deep dives on what makes UGC perform.
Test and run any channel that could bring us customers, for example LinkedIn, X, YouTube, cold email, Google Ads, Meta ads, organic content, AEO (getting cited by ChatGPT, Perplexity and Google AI Overviews), Reddit, affiliate marketing and B2B creators. Spend most of your time on the channels where quality beats volume.
For paid channels, run the ad accounts yourself: targeting, copy, creative briefs and budget.
Run experiments every week. Measure them against signups, trials and revenue, and keep what works.
Work with the founders and engineering on positioning, launches, onboarding and pricing pages.
Bring in freelancers or agencies where they're faster, and help build a growth team as we grow.
What success looks like after 90 days
You've launched at least two content formats we couldn't have automated, and our audience shares them.
You've found at least one organic and one paid channel that bring in signups week after week.
You post on LinkedIn and X every week, and your audience in creator marketing is growing.
Experiments ship every week, and each one ends with a written result.
We have a growth plan for the next six months that you wrote and own.
Your profile
About 3 years in B2B SaaS growth or marketing, with results you can show in numbers: signups, pipeline or ARR. Fewer years are fine if your results stand out.
You've grown a B2B SaaS product through organic channels such as SEO, content, community or product-led loops, and you did much of that work yourself.
You've run paid acquisition for B2B SaaS from inside the ad accounts. You know what CAC and payback should look like for a self-serve plan compared with a sales-assisted deal.
You've owned several channels at once, from first idea to live campaign to reporting.
You move fast. You'd rather ship five small tests this week than one perfect campaign next quarter.
You're scrappy. You write the landing page, build the campaign and pull the numbers yourself, and you know where AI saves time and where it hurts quality.
You have taste. You can tell a post, video or landing page that will land from one that won't, and you can make the good one yourself.
Fluent English. German is a plus.

An existing audience of marketers, founders or creators on LinkedIn or X
Experience with creator, UGC or influencer marketing, or with selling to performance marketers and agencies
Early-stage startup experience, ideally as the first marketing or growth hire
You've used free tools or data reports as a growth channel
What we offer
You own growth and report directly to the CEO.
€40,000–80,000 per year, depending on experience. Virtual stock options (VSOP) are possible for the right person.
A budget for ads and tools.
Fully remote from anywhere in a European time zone, with in-person team meetups several times a year.
Short decision paths. If a test makes sense, you can run it the same week.
