Job Role: Graphic Designer

Compensation range: $1,800 AUD - $2,000 AUD / Monthly

Engagement type: Independent Contractor Agreement

Work Schedule: This role is expected to align with the AU business hours (approx. 9 AM - 5 PM, Monday to Friday) for collaboration, but as a contractor, you’ll have flexibility in how you manage your time.

Who We Are: At Hunt St, we help Australian companies hire top remote talent in the Philippines. For this role, you will be engaged directly by the client as an independent contractor. We are not an outsourcing agency. All of our roles are 100% remote so you'll be able to work from home.

Who The Client Is: They are an Australian-based marketing and creative team supporting businesses with their branding, digital content and marketing needs. They are looking for a Philippines-based Graphic Designer to support ongoing design production, turning established creative direction, brand guidelines and content plans into polished, client-ready assets.

Role Overview: They are looking for a capable and efficient Graphic Designer who is comfortable working across different clients and brands. A key part of the role will be supporting ongoing social media work by turning established strategies, content plans and creative direction into polished visual assets. They will handle the strategy, planning and client relationships, you will support design and content production, so this role is focused on bringing creative ideas to life rather than managing social media.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design social media posts, carousels, stories, Reels and other digital assets using established brand guidelines and templates
• Create both planned and reactive social media content based on provided briefs and creative direction
• Edit short-form videos and Reels using supplied footage, including basic text, captions, transitions, music and brand styling
• Create, adapt and resize creative for different platforms and formats
• Work with existing Canva templates and develop or adapt templates where required
• Produce digital and print marketing collateral
• Assist with graphics and visual assets for website projects
• Prepare polished, client-ready artwork based on supplied creative direction
• Organise and maintain creative assets and files
• Upload, schedule and publish approved social content using platforms such as Metricool
• Make revisions efficiently and accurately based on feedback from the Australian team

Requirements

• Minimum 5 years of professional graphic design experience
• Experience across multiple client brands, ideally in an agency or multi-client environment
• Strong proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, particularly Photoshop, Illustrator and InDesign
• Proficiency in Canva and Figma
• Confident with short-form video and Reel editing
• Strong understanding of typography, layout, branding and visual consistency
• Experience producing digital and print-ready artwork
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow briefs and brand guidelines
• Good written and spoken English
• Organised, dependable and able to manage multiple design tasks efficiently

Preferred/Nice-to-Have:

• Agency or marketing/creative studio experience
• Experience producing recurring social media content
• Experience working with Australian or other international clients
• A portfolio showcasing social media, short-form video, print and digital/web design

This is a remote role that will be set up as an independent contractor engagement.
