Are you a skilled Foochowese interpreter looking for a flexible and rewarding opportunity? As a remote interpreter, you play a significant role in facilitating communication between Foochowese and English speakers. The interpreter needs to be able to process information quickly and accurately in a professional manner. It is essential to ensure a quiet and secure environment. Notepads, writing utensils, glossaries, and dictionaries are useful tools.
Candidate Qualifications:
- Fluency in English and Foochowese
- Minimum 1 year of interpretation experience
- Excellent listening, retention, and note-taking skills to maintain a high level of accuracy
- Ability to render correct concepts and meanings according to established interpretation protocols, avoiding omissions or additions
- Ability to explain certain cultural concepts to avoid miscommunication, with permission or at the request of the client
Technical Requirements:
- 90% English proficiency
- Steady wired internet connection
- USB wired headset
- Windows 10 or Mac

Your responsibilities:
- Answer calls professionally, acting according to the interpreter’s code of conduct
