About this role

We’re looking for an experienced Marketing Data Architect to provide short-term consulting support on a marketing data architecture project for a large-scale brand. This person will bring deep expertise in designing robust marketing data foundations and translating complex business, marketing, and technology requirements into a clear, scalable data architecture.

This is an immediate need for approximately 2–3 days of consulting across this week and next week. The consultant must be available to start immediately and will be required to sign an NDA. Day rate is dependent on experience. Must be located in the United States.

Responsibilities

Assess existing marketing data requirements, sources, systems, and infrastructure.
Advise on the design of a scalable and robust marketing data architecture and foundational data model.
Define how data should be structured, integrated, governed, and made accessible across marketing platforms and use cases.
Identify gaps, dependencies, risks, and technical considerations within the proposed data foundation.
Translate complex technical concepts into clear recommendations for marketing, analytics, and technology stakeholders.
Provide senior-level consultation and practical recommendations that can inform future implementation.

Requirements

Significant experience in marketing data architecture, analytics engineering, data strategy, or marketing technology consulting.
Demonstrated experience designing data foundations or architectures for large-scale, enterprise brands.
Strong understanding of marketing data ecosystems, including customer, campaign, media, CRM, web/app, and performance data.
Experience with data modeling, integration, data pipelines, APIs, cloud data platforms, and data governance.
Ability to understand both business requirements and technical architecture and connect the two.
Consulting experience within a firm such as Deloitte Digital, Slalom, Accenture, or similar, or equivalent experience as an independent consultant.
Comfortable working independently, moving quickly, and providing senior-level recommendations within a short engagement.
Immediate availability required.
