About this role

Introduction

Are you committed to community safety? We work hard to protect clients, customers, and teammates from fire hazards by installing, maintaining, and inspecting fire suppression systems. Our fire suppression systems ensure uninterrupted operations in businesses you likely visit, and our technicians take pride in their communities, prioritizing safety for all. If you share this passion and commitment, let's talk about how you can join us in our mission and build your future with us!

Position Summary

The Fleet Manager owns both the strategic planning and day to day execution of Marmic's vehicle fleet of approximately 1,200 vehicles operating out of branch locations across the country. This includes vehicle acquisition and lease versus buy strategy, preventive maintenance and driver scheduling, fuel efficiency and cost reduction, DOT and registration compliance, insurance and claims management, fleet safety, and reporting on fleet performance and budgets. The role also owns the accuracy of fleet data across all systems, including Enterprise Fleet Management and the company's Geotab telematics platform. Given the size and geographic spread of the fleet, the role requires strong systems discipline and the ability to coordinate consistent processes across many locations.
