We assist clients with family-based petitions, adjustment of status, consular processing, fiancé(e) visas, removal of conditions, naturalization, and other immigration matters. About the role

We are seeking a Family Immigration Paralegal with at least 1 year of hands-on experience in U.S. family immigration law to join our growing immigration practice.

The ideal candidate will have practical experience managing family-based immigration cases from intake through filing and case completion, including preparation of USCIS and Department of State applications and supporting documentation.

This remote position is ideal for a candidate who is fluent in Turkish and English, detail-oriented, client-focused, and comfortable independently managing multiple immigration cases in a fast-paced environment.

Working hours for this role are between 09:00 and 17:00 U.S. Central Time, which corresponds to 17:00–01:00 Türkiye time.

What you'll do

• Conduct comprehensive client intake processes, including initial screenings, phone calls, emails, and collection of supporting documentation for attorney review,
• Prepare and complete family-based immigration petitions and applications, including I-130, I-485, I-765, I-131, I-751, N-400, K-1 fiancé(e) visa cases, and consular processing/DS-260 matters,
• Prepare supporting evidence packages and organize documentation for submission to USCIS, the National Visa Center (NVC), U.S. Embassies and Consulates, and other relevant government agencies,
• Draft cover letters, client declarations, correspondence, responses, and other legal documents for attorney review,
• Assist attorneys with Requests for Evidence (RFEs), Notices of Intent to Deny (NOIDs), and other USCIS correspondence,
• Conduct legal and factual research related to family-based immigration matters,
• Maintain regular communication with clients, provide case updates, request outstanding documentation, and respond to client inquiries in a professional and timely manner,
• Monitor case statuses, filing deadlines, biometrics appointments, interviews, and other important case milestones,
• Maintain accurate and organized client files, case records, and internal databases,
• Coordinate with attorneys and other team members to ensure cases are prepared accurately and submitted on time,
• Draft informative content and blog articles related to family immigration topics when needed.

Qualifications

• A degree in law or a related field, with a background in immigration law preferred,
• At least 1 year of experience handling U.S. immigration matters within a U.S. law firm, preferably with significant family-based immigration experience,
• Hands-on experience with family immigration petitions and applications such as I-130, I-485, I-751, K-1, N-400, and consular processing,
• Familiarity with USCIS and NVC procedures and immigration case documentation requirements,
• Fluency in both Turkish and English, with excellent written and verbal communication skills,
• Strong organizational and case-management skills, with the ability to manage multiple cases and deadlines simultaneously,
• Strong client communication skills and the ability to work with clients from diverse cultural backgrounds,
• High attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy,
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and other standard computer applications,
• Ability to work independently in a remote environment with a reliable internet connection and computer.
