Collaborating with Upper Leadership and other Engineering Managers to align efforts and escalate issues when needed.
Acting as a communication bridge between teams, stakeholders, and leadership.

You certainly:

Have deep experience in mentoring, team-building, and performance management.

Can be located anywhere in Europe or the US East Coast timezone.

You probably:

Have prior experience in the business travel domain.
Have led cross-functional distributed teams across multiple regions.
Are comfortable balancing strategic goals with operational excellence.

Who we are:

We are a tech team of adventurous travellers, once a part of Y Combinator alumni — GetGoing Inc, founded in 2012 by Harvard, Stanford, and Berkeley graduates. We raised ~$10M in venture capital from Silicon Valley and, in 2016, joined BCD Travel (), a global corporate travel management company with annual sales of $25 billion, to bring our unique hotel booking technology into BCD’s products.

What we do:

We develop a B2B booking platform for business trips, which helps users book hotels, flights, and cars. It provides both business travellers and their travel agents with detailed itineraries and the best booking options. Every day, thousands of business travellers across the world use our software built on modern technology.

We use:

Frontend: ES6, React/Redux.
Backend: Python 3 and Clojure, plus Django, DRF, Celery, Gevent, aiohttp, Airflow.
Databases & infrastructure: PostgreSQL, Redis, Memcached, RabbitMQ, Elasticsearch, Terraform, Ansible, StackStorm, Splunk, Docker.
Everything runs on AWS.

What we offer:

A results-oriented startup mindset with a stable business model backed by a billion-dollar global travel company.
Competitive compensation and medical insurance.
Conferences, workshops, and certifications refund.
A friendly, professional, and high-skilled team working with the newest technologies.
Flexible hours and the ability to choose between full-time remote, partly remote, or office work.
A great office location in the very center of Kyiv near metro stations Zoloti Vorota / Teatralna / Khreschatyk (we have an extra “coffee” kitchen for coffee geeks, a game zone with a kicker, a bomb shelter in the building, and 2 independent electricity lines to make the workday more stable).
25 working days of vacation + 6 covered sick days.
A chance to help craft our tools, processes, and culture.
Opportunities for career growth.
