Email Marketing Specialist (Klaviyo) (BBS881)

We're looking for an Email Marketing Specialist to own the full email execution cycle across campaign builds, automations, A/B testing, segmentation, and performance reporting inside Klaviyo for a data-first growth marketing agency serving a focused roster of e-commerce and DTC brands.

This is a hands-on execution role with real ownership of campaign performance. You will be in Klaviyo every day, building flows, running A/B tests, managing segmentation, and turning performance data into clear, client-ready reporting. This is not a strategy-from-a-distance role. What You'll Work On

Campaign Building and Deployment

• Build, test, QA, deploy, and monitor Klaviyo email and SMS campaigns including batch sends, behaviorally triggered messages, and automated lifecycle journeys
• Schedule campaigns accurately across multiple client accounts and ensure nothing launches late or with incorrect assets
• Configure dynamic content blocks and conditional logic within campaigns to improve relevance and personalization
• Support creative and layout needs by selecting images, formatting text, and ensuring final output aligns with brand standards

Flow and Automation Management

• Build and manage email flows and automations including triggers, conditions, content, and timing
• Support and execute SMS sends within Klaviyo
• Troubleshoot flow issues and ensure automations are running correctly across all client accounts
• Document flow logic and changes clearly for full team visibility

Segmentation and List Management

• Build targeted audience segments using Klaviyo filters, conditions, and custom attributes based on user behavior, lifecycle stage, and other attributes
• Maintain list hygiene and segmentation across client email databases
• Leverage segmentation to improve campaign relevance and performance

A/B Testing and Optimization

• Set up and run A/B tests across campaigns and flows to continuously improve engagement and conversion metrics
• Track and optimize email performance by proactively flagging trends at the campaign and journey level
• Surface actionable insights to internal stakeholders and clients based on test results and performance data

Reporting and Client Communication

• Deliver regular email performance reporting with historical comparisons, channel benchmarks, and recommendations
• Create client-ready slides and presentations translating key metrics and learnings into simple charts and bullets
• Maintain a clear understanding of key performance metrics including open rates, CTR, conversion rate, and deliverability and use them to guide optimization decisions

What You Bring

• 3 or more years of hands-on email marketing execution experience, ideally in a fast-paced agency or DTC e-commerce environment
• Deep expertise in Klaviyo for campaign setup, flow building, segmentation, and analytics
• 2 or more years of experience working with Shopify
• Demonstrated experience creating and launching A/B tests and reporting clearly on their impact
• Strong Excel and Google Sheets skills including data export, templates, basic formulas, and clean formatting
• Comfortable turning performance data into simple, client-ready slides with charts and bullets
• Strong understanding of segmentation and how to apply it to improve campaign performance
• Detail-oriented with a proven ability to QA work thoroughly before every deployment
• Fluent written and spoken English with the confidence to explain performance trends and next steps clearly
• Available Monday through Friday during US business hours with occasional flexibility for time-sensitive updates

Nice to Have

• Experience building and launching SMS campaigns within Klaviyo or Postscript
• DTC or e-commerce specific background
• Experience with loyalty programs and lifecycle strategy tied to loyalty segmentation
• Working knowledge of HTML and CSS for light edits and resolving formatting issues in email templates
• Google and Meta ad platform familiarity for broader agency coverage
