About The Role

As the Director of Sales, you will be responsible for developing and executing strategic sales initiatives, managing a high-performing sales team, and fostering strong customer relationships. You will play a critical role in scaling our revenue and ensuring our solutions effectively meet the needs of our target market.

Reporting to the VP Sales , you will lead the New Logo Sales Group responsible for driving new business and cross-sell to their New Logo Accounts. The team is also responsible for building long-term, strategic business relationships that will lead to increased revenue growth, revenue retention and increase client satisfaction over the client lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities

Sales Strategy & Execution

• Develop and implement a comprehensive sales strategy to drive revenue growth and market expansion.
• Establish sales goals, KPIs, and performance metrics to ensure success.
• Identify new business opportunities, partnerships, and market trends to enhance sales effectiveness.

Team Leadership & Development

• Lead, mentor, and manage the sales team to exceed targets and drive performance.
• Recruit, train, and retain top sales talent while fostering a culture of excellence and accountability.
• Provide ongoing coaching and professional development to enhance sales skills and knowledge.

Customer & Market Engagement

• Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients, partners, and industry stakeholders.
• Collaborate with marketing and product teams to ensure alignment on messaging and go-to-market strategies.
• Represent the company at industry events, conferences, and networking opportunities.

Sales Operations & Performance

• Oversee sales forecasting, pipeline management, and reporting to ensure accurate revenue projections.
• Leverage data and analytics to optimize sales processes and improve conversion rates.
• Ensure the effective use of CRM tools and sales technologies to streamline operations.

Qualifications

Required

• 15+ years of sales experience, with 5 years of enterprise software sales leadership.
• B2B Software experience is a MUST with experience in cloud-based/Saas
• Proven verbal and written communication skills
• Organizational skills
• Exceptional presentation skills to sales team, customer and industry
• Demonstrated knowledge of sales tools and how they apply to the buying cycle
• Strong interpersonal skills with ability to work effectively cross-functionally and in teams
• Self-starter with the willingness and commitment to get the job done right
• Preference for working in a strategic-oriented and fast paced environment with changing workloads
• Create a positive, fun, team-oriented, hardworking, and balanced environment
• Value regional differences and have a sensitivity to diverse cultures
• Travel Commitment: Up to 30%, however this a fully remote role

Preferred

• 4-year college degree
