Director of Community Growth & Monetization (Remote | LATAM Only)

Summary:

We're hiring a Director of Community Growth & Monetization to turn a large and growing short term rental community into a powerful lead generation and revenue engine.

This is not a traditional social media or Facebook group moderator role. You will own the strategy to grow the audience, generate thousands of new leads each month, engage and nurture those leads, responsibly monetize the community, and ultimately generate more buyers and sellers for the company.

What You'll Own:

• Community growth, engagement, programming, and overall strategy across the company's owned communities.
• A scalable system for turning community members and anonymous audiences into opted-in, segmented leads inside the company's CRM.
• Lead generation and nurture campaigns that consistently produce thousands of new leads each month.
• Clear journeys from cold lead to engaged community member, qualified buyer or seller, and client.
• Community and email strategies that generate buyer and seller appointments.
• Community monetization through affiliates, vendors, sponsors, VIP programs, and relevant ancillary services.
• Cross-selling opportunities for STR Home Loans and STR Insurance Advisors.
• Community-driven event promotion, programming, registration, and downstream conversion.
• Accurate attribution from original lead source through appointments, clients, and closed revenue.

Core Responsibilities:

Community Growth & Engagement

• Own the strategy, programming, growth, and engagement of the Airbnb Tips & Tricks community and future communities.
• Create content, conversations, webinars, virtual programming, VIP experiences, and campaigns that increase community value and participation.
• Develop strategies to grow the community through organic, referral, partnership, paid, and campaign-driven initiatives.
• Convert anonymous community members into opted-in, segmented contacts inside the company's CRM.
• Build clear member journeys from cold lead to engaged prospect, qualified buyer or seller, and client.
• Monitor community engagement and continuously identify opportunities to improve participation and retention.

Lead Generation & Nurture

• Build scalable campaigns designed to generate thousands of new cold and early-stage leads each month.
• Develop lead magnets, surveys, reports, webinars, partnerships, referral campaigns, and audience-growth initiatives.
• Own community and email nurture strategies for buyers, owners, sellers, and investors.
• Reengage the existing database and identify contacts' goals, markets, timelines, available capital, and selling interest.
• Develop segmentation and lifecycle campaigns based on member behavior, interests, and intent.
• Partner with Inside Sales to convert engaged contacts into Market Match calls, seller consultations, and qualified opportunities.

Company-Wide Content Activation

• Activate the company's 100+ agents, employees, leaders, vendors, and partners as contributors to community growth.
• Identify internal experts who can host webinars, answer questions, appear in videos, and participate in community programming.
• Turn sales conversations, events, client questions, market insights, and company knowledge into useful community content at scale.
• Build repeatable processes for collecting, repurposing, and distributing internal expertise.

Monetization & Cross-Selling

• Develop affiliate offers, vendor relationships, sponsorships, VIP programs, and other relevant revenue opportunities.
• Recruit and manage affiliate vendors and sponsors that provide genuine value to STR owners and investors.
• Build campaigns that introduce STR Home Loans and STR Insurance Advisors at relevant points in the member journey.
• Track revenue generated through affiliate relationships, sponsors, vendors, ancillary companies, and paid community programs.

Events & Programming

• Partner with the Events Coordinator to promote events, generate registrations, sell tickets, and engage attendees.
• Build pre-event and post-event campaigns across the Facebook group, email database, agents, vendors, and sponsors.
• Turn event sessions, interviews, panels, and attendee stories into ongoing community content.

Sales & Revenue Attribution

• Create processes that connect community activity to appointments, opportunities, clients, and revenue.
• Monitor lead quality and conversion throughout the customer journey.
• Maintain accurate tracking from original lead source through closed revenue.
• Identify gaps in the funnel and develop strategies to improve conversion at each stage.
• Report on community-driven pipeline, revenue, and ROI to Marketing and leadership.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

• Proven experience growing and engaging an online community, audience, email database, or digital platform.
• Strong experience in lead generation and lifecycle/email marketing.
• Experience creating campaigns that generate measurable business outcomes.
• Strong understanding of audience segmentation, nurture, and conversion funnels.
• Experience working closely with sales teams to convert marketing-generated leads.
• Strong commercial and entrepreneurial mindset.
• Excellent written and verbal English communication skills.
• Strong analytical skills and comfort working with KPIs, attribution, and revenue data.
• Highly organized with strong project management and follow-through.
• Proactive, resourceful, and comfortable operating independently.
