About the position

We are seeking detail-oriented, computer-savvy individuals to support Korean-language data research projects. This is a 100% remote independent contractor role.

Contractors have the flexibility to determine how and when they complete assigned work, provided agreed project timelines and quality standards are met. Initial onboarding and project coordination support are provided to ensure alignment with project requirements.

Responsibilities:

• Deliver completed lead generation outputs based on Korean-language online research
• Provide accurate data entry, enrichment, and maintenance deliverables
• Validate and cleanse datasets according to defined project specifications
• Ensure research outputs meet documented quality and acceptance criteria

Qualifications:

• Experience in lead generation, data research, data analysis, or data quality assurance.
• Prior experience working remotely or in an online environment.
• Fluent or near-native proficiency in Korean (written and spoken)
• Professional proficiency in English (written and spoken)
• Strong internet research skills with excellent attention to detail
• Proficiency with productivity tools such as Google Docs, Google Sheets, Microsoft Office, and messaging platforms
• Access to a computer with at least 8GB RAM and a reliable internet connection (minimum 10 Mbps download speed)

Contractor Notice

This role is offered on an independent contractor basis. Contractors are responsible for their own taxes, insurance, and legal compliance in their respective country of residence. Compensation is based on completed deliverables.

How should I prepare myself before applying for the role?

• Prepare a resume that highlights your updated educational background and work experience.

• We use the Breezy portal for application tracking. It’s a secure platform that allows us to store and protect your personal information. Only authorized hiring team members have access to applications and attached documents.

What are the steps I need to take in order to get hired?

1. Click the 'Apply To Position' button and complete the application form.
2. After you submit all necessary information, you will receive an invite to record a video interview. You will be asked a few questions to help us get to know you better.
3. The hiring team reviews applications and selects the best-fitting candidates to begin the training program.
4. If you’re selected, you will receive an invite to start Data Researcher Training. You have 6 days to complete the training materials and 1 day for the final test.
5. After you pass the Final Test, you will be asked to sign the paperwork.
6. Once the paperwork is complete, we will verify the validity of your identity, signature, and the information you have provided. If everything looks good, you are officially hired, and the probation period starts.

Is the training paid?

• No, pre-hire training is not paid. You get paid after you’re officially hired and assigned to a project.

How do I get paid?

• We pay via Payoneer once a month. Payoneer is a financial services company (similar to PayPal) that provides online money transfer and digital payment services. It connects to your bank account for fast, easy transactions. Please note that Payoneer is not part of eCore Services, and all fees collected by Payoneer are solely determined by them.

I submitted my application, but haven’t received a response. What should I do?

• We review applications on a first-come-first-serve basis. We try to be efficient and respond in a timely manner, but if we have a high influx of applicants, our response may be delayed. Nevertheless, your application will be reviewed, and you will be notified of the decision. If you don’t receive a decision within 2 months, feel free to reach out to request an update.
