JOB DESCRIPTION

We are looking for a visionary, strategically minded, and technology-forward Creative Director to lead the conceptual, creative, and technological development of our assigned brands.

This role is responsible for transforming complex business and communication challenges into relevant, innovative, and executable ideas that deliver measurable value for our clients. The ideal candidate combines exceptional conceptual thinking, strong creative leadership, digital fluency, and a deep understanding of how Artificial Intelligence and emerging technologies are transforming the creative process.

The Creative Director will lead Associate Creative Directors, Copywriters, Content Creators, and strategic creative partners, while guiding multidisciplinary teams that may include Designers, Motion Designers, AI Specialists, Creative Developers, and Production Partners.

Working closely with the Chief Creative Officer, the Head of Art & AI Leader, and the Audiovisual General Producer & AI Leader, this person will turn the company’s creative vision into concrete solutions that combine strategic relevance, creative excellence, and technological feasibility.

This is not a role in which Artificial Intelligence is viewed solely as a production tool. We are looking for someone who understands that technology can also become the origin of an idea, an experience, a product, or a new business solution.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Lead the conceptual development of integrated campaigns, content platforms, digital experiences, and special projects.
• Transform business challenges, consumer insights, and strategic briefs into simple, relevant, memorable, and executable creative ideas.
• Ensure the conceptual quality, creative consistency, and executional excellence of all work developed by the assigned teams.
• Translate the creative vision established by the Chief Creative Officer into concrete solutions for clients and brands.
• Incorporate Artificial Intelligence and emerging technologies from the earliest stages of the creative process.
• Identify opportunities where AI can become an integral part of the concept, customer experience, product, or business solution—not only a tool for accelerating production.
• Explore new technologies and creative methodologies that enable the development of ideas that would be difficult or impossible to execute through traditional processes.
• Design and implement specialized AI agents to support creative research, insight generation, content development, production, workflow management, and knowledge sharing.
• Develop and maintain reusable libraries of prompts, agents, methodologies, and automated workflows for the creative department.
• Build intelligent workflows using automation platforms such as n8n, Make, or Zapier to improve productivity, consistency, and scalability.
• Use AI-assisted research tools to accelerate benchmarking, competitive analysis, trend identification, cultural exploration, and insight discovery.
• Lead the development of relevant creative insights, even when a project does not require a formal strategy workstream.
• Create rapid prototypes and proof-of-concept executions to evaluate ideas before entering full production.
• Understand how creativity connects across CRM, Social Media, Paid Media, Websites, E-commerce, Marketing Automation, Customer Journeys, and Conversational AI.
• Collaborate closely with Strategy, Accounts, Media, Technology, Production, and Project Management teams to ensure that ideas are strategically relevant and operationally viable.
• Partner with the Creative Intelligence Lead to strengthen brand platforms, communication frameworks, creative methodologies, and award narratives.
• Build compelling stories and narratives for campaigns, products, content ecosystems, digital experiences, and client presentations.
• Lead creative presentations and defend ideas with clarity, strategic reasoning, confidence, and the ability to inspire clients and internal teams.
• Act as a trusted creative and innovation advisor for assigned clients and brands.
• Anticipate creative, technological, operational, and reputational risks and address them with sound judgment and professionalism.
• Lead, inspire, mentor, and develop Associate Creative Directors, Copywriters, Content Creators, and other multidisciplinary talent.
• Provide clear, continuous, and actionable feedback that raises the quality of the work and supports professional growth.
• Foster a culture of collaboration, accountability, experimentation, continuous learning, and creative ambition.
• Participate in talent selection, onboarding, development planning, and performance evaluation processes.
• Coordinate and evaluate external specialists and strategic partners in creativity, Artificial Intelligence, automation, technology, development, and production.
• Ensure that external partners meet the creative, technical, operational, and quality standards required by each project.
• Document and share methodologies, experiments, prompts, agents, workflows, case studies, and best practices across the creative department.
• Contribute to the development of new creative capabilities, technology-enabled services, and differentiated solutions for clients.
• Participate actively in new business opportunities, pitches, and strategic proposals.
• Identify campaigns and projects with the potential to become successful case studies or award submissions.
• Collaborate on the conceptual development and storytelling of entries for national and international creative festivals.
• Represent and live Contáctica’s values in every interaction with clients, teams, partners, and suppliers.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Proven experience as a Creative Director, Associate Creative Director, or in a comparable senior creative leadership role.
• Strong portfolio demonstrating outstanding conceptual thinking, integrated campaign development, storytelling, and creative execution.
• Experience leading multidisciplinary creative teams and developing creative talent.
• Strong ability to transform business challenges, strategic briefs, consumer insights, and cultural trends into relevant creative solutions.
• Solid understanding of branding, advertising, content, digital experiences, social platforms, and integrated marketing ecosystems.
• Demonstrated experience incorporating Artificial Intelligence into creative research, ideation, content development, production, or workflow optimization.
• Hands-on knowledge of leading generative AI and research platforms such as ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini, Perplexity, Midjourney, Adobe Firefly, Runway, Sora, and ElevenLabs.
• Ability to determine which AI platform, model, or technological solution is most appropriate for a specific creative objective.
• Experience designing advanced prompts, structured prompt systems, or conversational architectures that generate consistent and scalable results.
• Experience designing, configuring, or implementing specialized AI agents for research, creativity, production, automation, or knowledge management.
• Functional knowledge of automation platforms such as n8n, Make, or Zapier.
• Understanding of how CRM, Social Media, Paid Media, Websites, E-commerce, Marketing Automation, Customer Journeys, and Conversational AI connect within a client’s digital ecosystem.
• Ability to use AI-assisted research to conduct benchmarking, competitive analysis, trend exploration, and insight discovery.
• Strong presentation, storytelling, communication, and idea-selling skills.
• Ability to defend creative recommendations with strategic reasoning while remaining open to feedback and collaboration.
• Strong client-facing skills and the ability to act as a trusted advisor in creativity, innovation, and emerging technology.
• Experience working with external production partners, technology specialists, developers, and creative suppliers.
• Entrepreneurial mindset with a strong interest in developing new services, products, methodologies, and client solutions.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities, make sound decisions, and maintain creative excellence in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong curiosity and a continuous-learning mindset regarding creativity, culture, consumer behavior, Artificial Intelligence, technology, and innovation.
• Bachelor’s degree in Advertising, Design, Communications, Marketing, Creative Technology, or a related field.
• Fluency in English and Spanish, both written and spoken.
