Standard Job Description

Will be responsible for contractual matters related to multiple complext proposal and capture efforts. Perform contracts management functions across the spectrum of actions associated with providing supplies and services, from capture through proposal, contract award, and all phases of contract administration. Provide business advice and guidance to and coordinate with other functions including program management, finance, legal, subcontracts, business development, engineering, human resources, accounting, and compliance to effectively manage a breadth of responsibilities, including contract solicitations / capture, negotiations, and contract terms, including fulfillment of related obligations. Serve as authorized, empowered representative for the Company as interface with Customer buying representatives responsible for building effective relationships and managing contracts to support business goals and objectives. Coordinate solutions to contractual issues and Customer concerns related to Company performance. Ensure contractual compliance with all laws and regulations, and adherence to Delegation of Authority and approval requirements for proposals and contractual actions. Lead and support audits, as appropriate, with internal and external audit teams and agencies to support contract-related activities and verify compliance. Ensure final contract documents are consistent with agreements reached at negotiations. May plan and participate in training of contract practices within Company. Collect contractual data and compiles reports in response to Corporate and Business Area requests. Will be requested to contribute to supervisory responsibilities and coordinate subordinate employee recruitment, selection and training, performance assessment, work assignments, and other personnel matters as appropriate.

Basic Qualifications

• Extensive experience with proposals and contract negotiations for both United States Government and international programs.
• Experience with multiple contract types (e.g., firm fixed price, fixed price incentive).
• Experience leading complex proposals and contract negotiations.
• Experience with large hardware production proposals and programs.
• Exprerience negotiating and preparing contracts and related documents (e.g., terms and conditions, financial instruments, statemments of work, etc.).
• Experience building productive relationships within the Contracts organization, across functional organizations, and with customers.
• Experience training and development of more junior employees.
• Experience identifying key risks and issues, and formulating and implementing appropriate contractual mitigation strategies.
• Experience using financial accumen .
• Experieince using communication skills.

Desired Skills

• Familiarity with Lockheed Martin contracts management tools, policies, and procedures.
• Membership in contracts management professional organizations (e.g., NCMA); professional certifications (e.g., CFCM).

• Full-time salary range (GEOZONE 1): $168600.00 - $313200.00
  • Includes metropolitan areas such as Sunnyvale CA; Pal Alto, CA; New York City metropolitan area; Newark, New Jersey; etc.
• Full-time salary range (GEOZONE 2): $151800.00 - $281800.00
  • Includes metropolitan areas such as Denver, CO; King of Prussia, PA; Stratford, CT; Moorestown, NJ; etc.
• Full-time salary range (GEOZONE 3): $134900.00 - $250500.00
  • Includes metropolitan areas such as Dallas–Fort Worth, TX; Orlando, FL; Grand Prairie, TX; Marietta, GA; etc.
• Full-time salary range (GEOZONE 4): $121400.00 - $225400.00
  • Includes metropolitan areas such as Camden, AR; Lexington, KY; Lufkin, TX; etc.
