Consultative Sales Executive - Digital Marketing, HubSpot & AI Solutions

We are seeking an experienced, consultative Sales Executive who can understand a client’s larger business goals, uncover their most important challenges, and connect those challenges to the right marketing, sales, and technology solutions.

This is not a transactional sales role. The right candidate knows how to ask thoughtful questions, identify the pain behind the initial request, and demonstrate how our services can help the client generate measurable business results.

You should be comfortable discussing HubSpot Marketing Hub, HubSpot Sales Hub, SEO, AI search visibility, digital marketing, and business automation with executives and decision-makers. You do not need to personally implement every solution, but you must understand these services well enough to confidently communicate their strategic value.

Requirements

Key Responsibilities

• Lead discovery calls with business owners, executives, marketing leaders, and sales leaders.
• Understand each prospect’s business model, goals, growth challenges, sales process, and marketing performance.
• Uncover the prospect’s underlying pain points, not just their surface-level requests.
• Recommend solutions that align with the client’s priorities, budget, goals, and desired outcomes.
• Clearly communicate the value of:
• HubSpot Marketing Hub
• HubSpot Sales Hub
• CRM implementation and optimization
• Marketing and sales automation
• Search engine optimization
• AI search visibility, AEO, and GEO
• Content strategy and lead generation
• Sales and marketing alignment
• Reporting, attribution, and performance optimization
• Manage inbound and outbound sales opportunities from initial contact through closing.
• Build relationships with key stakeholders and navigate complex B2B buying decisions.
• Conduct presentations, solution demonstrations, and strategy conversations.
• Develop proposals, scopes, pricing recommendations, and follow-up communications.
• Maintain accurate contact, deal, activity, and pipeline information in HubSpot CRM.
• Use Apollo for prospecting, contact research, outreach, and account development.
• Collaborate with marketing, strategy, and delivery teams to create the right solution for each client.
• Use Claude, ChatGPT, and other AI tools to improve research, call preparation, follow-up, proposal development, and overall sales productivity.
• Consistently meet or exceed pipeline, activity, and revenue goals.

What We’re Looking For

• Proven experience in B2B consultative sales, solution selling, or agency sales.
• Formal sales training or demonstrated experience following a structured sales methodology.
• Strong discovery skills and the ability to ask meaningful, sometimes challenging questions.
• Ability to connect a client’s business goals and pain points to practical solutions.
• Working knowledge of digital marketing, SEO, AI search, lead generation, and marketing automation.
• Experience selling or discussing HubSpot Marketing Hub and Sales Hub.
• Hands-on experience managing contacts, companies, deals, tasks, and activities within HubSpot CRM.
• Experience using Apollo or a comparable sales intelligence and prospecting platform.
• Comfortable communicating with business owners, executives, and senior decision-makers.
• Strong presentation, negotiation, follow-up, and written communication skills.
• Ability to explain technical or marketing concepts in clear business language.
• Highly organized, accountable, and consistent with CRM and pipeline management.
• Comfortable using AI tools such as Claude and ChatGPT to streamline work while maintaining accuracy and professionalism.

Preferred Qualifications

• Sandler sales training or certification is a strong plus.
• Experience selling digital marketing, HubSpot, SEO, AI, SaaS, consulting, or professional services.
• HubSpot certifications in Sales Hub, Marketing Hub, Inbound Sales, or related areas.
• Understanding of AI search platforms and how AEO/GEO differs from traditional SEO.
• Experience creating proposals, forecasts, sales reports, and executive presentations.
• Familiarity with multi-touch sales cycles involving several stakeholders.

• You build client trust by being strategic, transparent, prepared, and focused on solving the right problems.

Ideal Candidate

You are naturally curious and think beyond the immediate request. When a prospect says they need more leads, you ask why their current pipeline is underperforming. When they ask for SEO, you explore their revenue goals, ideal customers, sales process, conversion challenges, and visibility in both traditional and AI-powered search.

You are not interested in pushing a service that does not fit. Your goal is to understand the client’s bigger picture, uncover the true source of their pain, and recommend a solution that can create meaningful business impact.
