The role
The Tenex Cloud Security Specialist is a field seller who builds and closes Tenex's cloud security business alongside Wiz and Google Cloud. Now that Google has acquired Wiz and Wiz is depending on partners to deliver services, the opportunity to become the leading security operations partner in the Wiz ecosystem is open right now. This role is how Tenex captures it.
You'll be part of a regional sales pod: a Sales Leader, Enterprise Sales Directors, and a Customer Engineer. You are an overlay to the account owners, not a second sales team. You bring Wiz-led cloud security opportunities into the pod and run them to close with the account owner, the customer's Google Cloud rep, and the Wiz seller. The job combines five responsibilities: new business, co-sell, channel, field marketing, and partner enablement.
What you'll do
Build and close new business. Own the Wiz-led CNAPP pipeline in your region and run full sales cycles on opportunities typically worth $300K to $1M+ in ARR, from first meeting to signature.
Run the co-sell motion. Build working relationships with Wiz field sellers, Google Cloud Security reps, and channel partners in the Wiz Integration Network, so that Tenex is the first call when their customers need security operations.
Manage channel and resell. Handle deal registration, margin structure, and partner-led close motions for your region, and keep partner-sourced opportunities clean and correctly attributed.
Own events and field marketing. Plan, budget, and run regional events and field programs, then turn the engagement they create into qualified pipeline.
Enable partner sellers. Train Wiz, Google Cloud, and channel sellers to position Tenex's AI SOC and MDR offerings clearly, and recognize when a customer needs us.
Work as part of a pod. Coordinate with Enterprise Sales Directors on account strategy, and bring in Tenex's Cloud Security Architects and Customer Engineers to secure the technical win.
How you'll be measured
Pipeline generation, partner deal registration, and closed ARR.
What you bring
5+ years of quota-carrying enterprise sales experience in cybersecurity, ideally in cloud security, CNAPP, SIEM, or MDR.
A track record of partner-led and co-sell selling with hyperscalers, security vendors, or channel partners. Wiz, Google Cloud, or Palo Alto/CrowdStrike ecosystem experience is a strong plus.
A working understanding of cloud security (CNAPP, CSPM, cloud detection and response) and of how security operations teams actually run.
Comfort owning deals worth $300K to $1M+ with CISO-level and security leadership buyers.
An established network of cloud security sellers and partners in your region.
The ability to run events and programs without a dedicated marketing team next to you.
Willingness to earn Wiz and Google Cloud partner certifications as needed.
Willingness to travel within the EMEA region.
European languages (beyond English) are an advantage.
