Job description

We are looking for a Cloud Partner Channel Sales Manager to build our cloud reseller channel from the ground up. Today, customers buy VyOS on AWS, Azure, and GCP through pay-as-you-go marketplace listings. Your mandate is to design, launch, and scale a partner program that enables cloud resellers, MSPs, and marketplace channel partners to resell VyOS subscriptions through the private offer mechanisms of the three major clouds.

This is a build role, not a caretaker role. You will own the program end to end: strategy, partner recruitment, commercial framework, marketplace operations, enablement, and the revenue that flows through it.

Responsibilities

• Design and launch VyOS's cloud reseller channel program from scratch: partner tiers, margin structure, deal registration, incentives, and program terms.
• Recruit, onboard, and activate cloud resellers and MSPs globally, prioritizing partners with established AWS, Azure, and GCP resale practices.
• Own the private offer motion across the three hyperscalers: AWS Marketplace Channel Partner Private Offers (CPPO), Azure Marketplace multiparty private offers (MPO), and Google Cloud Marketplace channel private offers.
• Structure and close partner-sourced and partner-transacted deals, supporting resellers through quoting, private offer creation, and marketplace transaction mechanics.
• Build the enablement engine: sales and technical training for partner teams, co-branded collateral, pricing tools, and onboarding paths in collaboration with our marketing and presales teams.
• Develop co-sell relationships with hyperscaler partner and marketplace teams to generate partner-attached pipeline.
• Define and run the operating cadence with partners: business reviews, pipeline reviews, and joint go-to-market plans.
• Own channel forecasting and reporting to the CRO: partners recruited, partner-sourced pipeline, and marketplace channel revenue.

What Success Looks Like

• Number of active, transacting partners incorporated into the program.
• Revenue growth generated through cloud partners and resellers.
• A repeatable, documented program that scales without proportional headcount.

Skills and experience

• 5+ years in channel sales, partner management, or cloud marketplace roles, with direct experience selling or transacting through AWS, Azure, and GCP marketplaces.
• Hands-on experience with private offers on at least two of the three major clouds, including channel/multiparty private offer mechanics (CPPO, MPO, or GCP channel offers).
• A track record of building or significantly scaling a partner or channel program, ideally at an ISV or software vendor.
• Strong customer and partner management skills: you have owned relationships through the full lifecycle, from recruitment to renewal.
• Commercial fluency in subscription software: pricing, margins, discounting, multi-year terms, and marketplace billing models.
• Ability to operate autonomously in a remote, globally distributed team, managing partners across time zones.
• Excellent written and verbal communication in English.

Would be a plus:

• Experience in networking, security, or infrastructure software.
• Familiarity with open source commercial models.
• Existing relationships with cloud resellers, distributors, or hyperscaler marketplace teams.
• Experience with hyperscaler co-sell programs (AWS ISV Accelerate, Microsoft co-sell, Google Cloud Partner Advantage).
