Role Purpose:
We are looking for a Clinical Research Support professional to assist with study start-ups, contracts
and budgets, patient visit coordination, and ensuring a positive patient experience throughout study participation.
This position will provide additional support to the Site Manager, by assisting with day-to-day clinical research tasks remotely. The goal of the role is to provide reliable and efficient administrative and research support, help complete tasks more quickly, improve turnaround times, and streamline the overall workflow of the research site.
Key Responsibilities:
• Patient visit coordination and scheduling
• IRB submissions and related regulatory documentation (electronic source)
• Vendor and facility coordination
• Budget negotiation and follow-up
- Contract coordination and tracking
• ICF (Informed Consent Form) documentation and management
• Study start-up support
• Maintaining and organizing study documentation
• Following up on outstanding tasks and ensuring items are completed on time
Required Skills / Experience:
The role requires a strong understanding of clinical research workflows and processes, including IRB submissions, informed consent forms (ICFs), paper source documentation, budgets, and contracts. The selected candidate will also support the site as it transitions to an eSource system, which is expected to take place within the next three months. Our site currently uses Google Workspace (G Suite) and Microsoft Tools for its day-to-day operations, so familiarity with these tools is preferred.
Non-Negotiables (Hard Requirements):
• Diligent, detail-oriented, and consistent in following through on assigned tasks.
• VA should have a solid understanding of clinical research processes and be able to work independently
while ensuring tasks are completed accurately and on time.
• Strong accountability, organization, and proactive communication are essential
