Business Development Representative

The Opportunity:
We're growing our sales team and are looking for two commercially minded Business Development Representatives to join us. As BDRs, you'll drive new business through proactive outbound prospecting and the qualification of inbound leads. You'll identify, engage and qualify potential customers, creating high-quality opportunities for the wider new business team. Key Responsibilities:

• Generate new business opportunities through outbound prospecting.
• Research target organisations and identify key decision-makers.
• Engage prospects by phone, email, LinkedIn and other sales engagement channels.
• Respond promptly to inbound leads and qualify them against agreed criteria.
• Book qualified meetings and create opportunities for the new business sales team.
• Build and maintain a healthy pipeline of prospective customers.
• Work with Account Executives and Sales Leadership to develop territory and account strategies.
• Keep all prospect, lead and opportunity records, activity and outcomes accurate and up to date in Salesforce.
• Meet or exceed agreed KPIs across activity, lead follow-up, qualification, meetings and pipeline generation.
• Take ownership of your performance and work with management to achieve your targets.

Job Qualifications:

• Confident, professional communicators with strong interpersonal skills.
• Self-motivated and resilient, comfortable working towards targets.
• The ability to create opportunities from scratch and respond quickly to incoming enquiries.
• Strong organisational skills, attention to detail and excellent CRM discipline.
• A positive attitude and a real desire to build a career in technology sales.

Desirable:

• Previous experience in sales, business development, telesales or a customer-facing role.
• Experience with Salesforce or another CRM system.
• An interest in technology, IT or cybersecurity.

Compensation Range
The salary compensation for this role is £26,500 with an OTE of £37,500 and uncapped commission.
