About the Role

The company builds software technology for government agencies. We're looking for a Business Development Representative (BDR) to make outbound calls to government prospects, briefly introduce Ordinal and our product, and book product demos for our sales team.

Key Responsibilities

Make outbound cold calls to government prospects (leads provided by Ordinal — no prospecting required)
Briefly introduce the company and its product to gauge interest
Qualify prospects and book product demos for the sales team to run
Hit call volume targets of roughly 30–40 calls per hour
Log call activity and outcomes accurately in JustCall and HubSpot

Requirements

Prior experience in outbound sales, cold calling, or a BDR/SDR role
Strong, clear English phone communication skills
Persistent and resilient — comfortable with a high volume of rejection (target booking rate is roughly 1–2%)
Able to work Central Time business hours, Monday–Friday
Reliable internet connection and a quiet calling environment
