Position Overview

You'll provide bookkeeping for a portfolio of clients, keeping the books accurate, current, and closed on time each month. You'll work alongside bookkeepers, accountants, and our data entry team. This role fits someone with solid bookkeeping experience who wants to keep growing in accounting, whether toward senior bookkeeping, accounting, or beyond.

Primary Responsibilities

• Manage full-cycle bookkeeping for a portfolio of clients, including multi-location franchise businesses
• Complete monthly bank, credit card, and balance sheet reconciliations
• Meet month-end close deadlines consistently
• Prepare monthly financial statements for review
• Process accounts payable and receivable
• Support payroll processing as needed
• Respond to client questions clearly and promptly, and flag issues before they become problems
• Document client procedures in our systems so work is consistent and easy to hand off

Required Qualifications

• Bookkeeping experience with demonstrated knowledge of accounting principles
• Proficiency in accounting software; QuickBooks Online preferred
• Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple clients
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• High level of integrity and confidentiality
• Ability to work independently while maintaining team connections

Work Environment

• 100% remote position
• 20-40 hours weekly (minimum 20 hours required)
• Flexible scheduling, with at least 70% of your hours worked between 7:00 AM and 7:00 PM Mountain Time so you overlap with clients and teammates
• Applicants outside the US are not eligible for this position.
