We are seeking an experienced and reliableAustralian Bookkeeper & Admin Assistantto support an Australian real estate and building/construction business based in Victoria.
The ideal candidate will have experience with bookkeeping and accounting administration, preferably usingXero, and will be comfortable assisting with general administrative and data-entry tasks when required.
The successful candidate will primarily assist with accounting responsibilities and will also complete real estate, construction and general administrative work during available time. Training will be provided for business-specific administrative processes.
We are looking for someone dependable who can become a long-term part of the team and provide consistent remote support to our Australian business.
Key Responsibilities
Accounting and Bookkeeping
- Perform bank and account reconciliations in Xero
- Maintain accurate financial records
- Assist with preparing BAS statements
- Manage invoices, expenses, accounts payable and accounts receivable
- Assist with general bookkeeping and accounting administration
- Organise and maintain financial documentation
- Follow Australian accounting procedures and business requirements
Real Estate Administration
- Enter and maintain real estate data
- Update property records and databases
- Organise documents and digital files
- Assist with property-related administration
- Prepare spreadsheets, reports and correspondence
- Perform general data-entry tasks
Building and Construction Administration
- Assist with project and job administration
- Maintain project records and documentation
- Update spreadsheets and internal systems
- Organise files, invoices and supplier information
- Provide general administrative support to the building company
- Complete other office and administrative tasks as required
Requirements
- 2 years or more Australian bookkeeping experience
- Accounting, bookkeeping or finance background
- Experience using Xero
- Experience in bank reconciliations and BAS preparation
- Trust Accounting experience is highly preferred
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Good written and spoken English
- Good computer skills, including Microsoft Excel and email
- Ability to manage confidential financial and business information
- Reliable, organised and able to work independently
- Willingness to learn Australian business processes
- Previous experience in real estate, construction or Australian bookkeeping is preferred but not essential

1.Monthly Salary: PHP 35,000
2.Salary will be paid on a bi-monthly basis on the 15th and 30th or 31st of each month
3.You will be paid extra for overtime and Philippines public holidays
4.Probation: 6 months and after Probation
10 days annual leave credits

5.HMO offered after 6-months' probation
6.Eligible for 13th Month Pay after 30 days

9.Permanent work-from-home role. You will have to use your own internet.
10.SHIFT TIMES: 6:30 AM to 3:30 PM Philippine time, Monday to Friday.
