Role Overview

We are recruiting for a remote Appointment Setter to support an established Australian business networking organisation.

This role focuses on following up warm and previously engaged prospects, re-engaging interest, qualifying suitability, and booking appointments directly into the manager’s calendar.

This is not a cold lead generation role. You will work from warm lead lists, follow a structured script, manage follow-ups carefully, and maintain accurate CRM records.

Key responsibilities include:

• Contacting warm and previously engaged prospects by phone
• Re-engaging leads who have attended events, previously enquired, or shown interest
• Qualifying prospects before booking appointments
• Booking suitable appointments directly into the manager’s calendar
• Following provided scripts while keeping conversations natural and professional
• Handling objections confidently and respectfully
• Managing follow-up activity across calls, email, and text where required
• Maintaining accurate CRM notes, call outcomes, callbacks, and follow-up dates
• Working consistently toward call, contact, appointment, follow-up, and conversion targets
• Confirming appointment details to help reduce cancellations and no-shows
• Keeping the sales pipeline organised and up to date
• Providing clear reporting on activity and appointment outcomes

Requirements

Previous experience in appointment setting, outbound calling, telesales, lead generation, or business development

Strong verbal communication skills

Confidence speaking with business owners and professional contacts

Experience working with warm leads and re-engaging previous prospects

Ability to follow a script without sounding robotic

Strong listening and objection-handling skills

Good judgement when qualifying whether a prospect is genuinely suitable for an appointment

Comfortable working toward KPIs and activity targets

Strong CRM discipline and accurate note-taking

Reliable, organised, and comfortable working independently

Previous international or Australian market exposure is advantageous

Experience with CRM platforms such as GoHighLevel, HubSpot, Close, or similar systems is beneficial

Reliable computer or laptop

Stable high-speed internet

Backup power and/or internet connectivity

Professional headset or calling setup

Quiet and suitable home working environment

Availability to work 30 hours per week aligned to Western Australian business hours

Comfortable with a rate of AUD $7 per hour
