Responsibilities
- Assess, diagnose and manage patients presenting with a range of minor illnesses and acute conditions.
- Provide high-quality clinical care, ideally to patients across all age groups.
- Review, interpret and act on blood test results, including FBC, U&Es, CRP, LFTs, lipid profiles and HbA1c.
- Develop and implement appropriate clinical management plans based on assessment findings and investigation results.
- Initiate or adjust treatment as clinically appropriate and within scope of practice.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date clinical records using SystmOne.
Essential requirements
- Registered Nurse, Paramedic or Pharmacist with relevant professional registration.
- Must have a Right to Work in the UK
- Minimum 1 year experience within Primary Care is Essential
- Prescribing rights are essential
- Must be IT literate
- Experience assessing and treating patients across all age groups.
- MSc in Advanced Practice (RCN Accreditation may also be considered).
- Must be able to commit to a minimum of 10 hours per week on a regular basis
- Experience in digital or tele health is desirable
- Experience assessing and managing minor illnesses and acute presentations.
- Strong clinical assessment, diagnostic and decision-making skills.
- Competence in interpreting common blood test results and using findings to inform treatment and management plans.
- Ability to work autonomously and make appropriate clinical decisions.
- Proficient in using SystmOne
