• Manage and record day-to-day accounting transactions for U.S.-based companies. • Process and maintain accounts payable, expenses, invoices, and payments. • Review invoices and supporting documentation for accuracy and completeness. • Monitor and reconcile financial transactions, bank accounts, and company expenses. • Maintain accurate and up-to-date accounting records. • Prepare and submit monthly financial and management reports to the Nigeria-based team. • Assist with month-end and year-end closing activities. • Prepare account reconciliations and investigate discrepancies. • Support cash-flow monitoring and other financial analysis as required. • Ensure transactions are properly classified, documented, and recorded. • Work with management and other stakeholders to resolve accounting issues promptly. • Maintain confidentiality of sensitive financial and company information. • Support audits, tax requirements, and other finance-related activities when needed.
