Account Manager - Footwear

Position Overview

The Account Manager position grows and retains H.B. Fuller's market share and customer base in the segment while achieving profit sales targets. The segment will be footwear, and this role will be focused on new business opportunities. This role requires strong technical expertise and strategic negotiation skills.

Primary Responsibilities

• Build and maintain strong customer relationships by delivering tailored value propositions.
• Negotiate pricing and margins using value-selling techniques and tools to optimize profitability.
• Identify, develop, and close new business opportunities while maintaining existing accounts.
• Provide technical support and conduct product demonstrations independently.
• Deliver timely reports and collaborate with internal stakeholders to achieve business objectives.
• Monitor market trends and competitive landscape to position H.B. Fuller advantageously.
• Promote innovative products and technologies to strengthen market leadership.

Minimum Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in technical/mechanical, marketing, or chemistry field preferred.
• 5 years of relevant sales experience; footwear experience is mandatory.
• Demonstrated ability to achieve sales and profit targets.
• Must have a valid driver’s license and be willing to travel.
• Fluency in English and Italian; German would be a plus

Pay & Benefits

The salary range for this position is €52,000–€65,000 gross per year.

Pay within this range is determined based on objective and gender-neutral criteria, including relevant education, work experience, certifications, skills, and geographic location.
